The MC is a she-cat (nothing wrong with that) and every tom has a crush on her (there it is).
But then again, a lot of fanfics have a she-cat as the MC.
* M. Especially in comparison to canon books, she-cat protagonists are definitely welcome. Every tom crushing on her is an exaggeration, but having someone vehemently not interested in romance dealing with pushy toms is a very real thing, and can be interesting. Love triangles are just... ehh. I side with the big-brained masses when I say poly relationships exist.
