* Your MC can make mistakes and should make mistakes and face consequences. This is how character arcs happen. HOWEVER there is nothing wrong with kind protagonists that try to remain compassionate against a world constantly pushing them to be otherwise, I just think kind protagonists are neat. ESPECIALLY in current Clan society where cats hate you depending on where you were born.
