* Just need to say! This isn't that big of a problem. Some queens enjoy being parents or assisting other mothers. There's nothing wrong about being the cat equivalent of a stay-at-home mother. These roles can be quite crucial too, especially in a wild Clan where orphaned kits can be common. If these queens choose to have kits because they enjoy parenting them and watching them grow, that's cute and they have agency to choose this life! The problem is when you strip these characters bare of any personality aside from "fretful and pushy mother." Another problem is if every mother/queen gets this treatment. They can have a life outside of their kits.
