Katherine's POV:

The pain of the king's spear in my ribcage was so intense that I shifted back. I shifted back in my birthday suit. Thankfully my hair covered my chest. I was able to move at the last second only a few inches to save my life. What I didn't understand was why I was covered in blood. It wasn't mine.

I saw King David's face and saw pure shock. Blood was coming out of his mouth and suddenly I notice the hand that was coming out of his chest. It was holding his heart.

Out of nowhere, blue flames started burning the heart but it started to repair itself. "Quick Katherina! Use your fire abilities! Mine is not enough!" My mother scream. I tried to move but the spear that was in my rib cage didn't allow me. So I put my hands into fists and firebended from below.

But it wasn't enough. The king's heart started moving towards his chest, veins started moving around it, connecting himself. He moved his eyes towards my fire. He grabbed the spear that was hanging from my rib cage and dug it deeper. "Argh!" I screamed. The spear came out my back.

I distracted myself with holding the spear, in an attempt to stop it from going any deeper.

At this moment We needed a miracle. Katherine! You are losing too much blood! Saphira screamed In my mine. She was right. My fire abruptly stopped.

To my surprise, the spear broke into two. Or should I say was cut in two. A shadow was right beside me and I knew who it was. Without any warning, he took the half of the spear and took it out of my body. I screamed in agony. Instantly my wound started healing.

He bit his arm and gave it to me, feeding me some of his blood. "Transform into your battle gear, Katherina." He was serious. I did. I didn't want King David to keep see my nakedness anymore.

"Do you really think this is enough? Even with Esther burning my heart, it's not enough." King David laughed, an evil deep laugh. Sepherus helped me stand up and instantly entrusted his sword into the king's chest. He started twirling the sword around.

The king grabbed the sword. He tried to put it out. "You need me alive." "Why?" Sepherus demanded. "Haha. You'll never know if you kill me." He said.

I didn't care. He was playing with our minds. I started preparing a final fire blow to his heart. My mother had weakened him enough. I started seeing her blue flames getting smaller. "I die and the human's fraction of the world will find out you are alive. And who knows, maybe they finally have developed something for hybrids. They will kill all of you."

"What did you do?!" My mother screamed from behind. "Hahaha! You'll see soon enough!" Kind David screamed. It was now or never. Sepherus dug the sword even more deeper and it was my clue to firebend. My mother moved backward and stopped holding the king's heart.

I surrounded my hand with lava fire and within seconds I was grabbing his heart. Burning it. But before I saw the life out of him leave I said the following.
