Abigail loaded her bow. Head Warrior stood in the middle of a clearing. Several other Warriors were already fighting Meropians. Brooke roared and jumped in, shooting a Meropian full on. Abigail looked madly around for Magda, when she felt something slam into her so hard, she was thrown off her feet.

A Meropian soldier stood, towering above Abigail. Abigail screamed for help. The man bore down upon her and jammed his fist into her windpipe, effectively cutting off her voice. Abigail tried to throw him off, only he was too heavy, being at least thirty kilos heavier. The man drew a sword and sliced a cut on her cheekbone.

"Are you Abigail Hilton?"

When Abigail didn't answer, he slapped her so hard on the face that Abigail saw stars.

"Tell me! If you don't, I shall run you through with this sword!!!" he demanded.

"No! I am not Abigail Hilton!!! Please-"

Abigail screamed as he sliced a cut on her forehead. He was too heavy. She couldn't unseat him.

"Don't lie! Abigail has auburn hair and so do you!!! There aren't many redheads in Cirices." he said.

Abigail screamed. Again he jammed his fist into her windpipe. Then one thing occurred to Abigail. The Meropians would want to capture her, not kill her.

"I shall strangle you if I have to. If you make me do it. You must not lie to me. Against the Wood Inhabs, you stand out like a sore thumb. You don't fit in. You will never fit in. I can almost see Hilton blood flowing through your veins."

He slashed another cut on her collar bone. And then, worst of all, he began dragging her painfully across the ground, not before he slashed other cuts in her. Abigail screamed for help, but nobody came to her. Now he was pulling her into a clearing, drawing his sword. Trees began swooping around her in dizzying circles. "If he wants to kill me, let him. I would rather die quickly than being captured and slowly killed" thought Abigail. Hands, covered in her own blood reached down to her. A sword was held above her head.

Just then, Abigail heard a yell of anger and a scream of agony, as she looked up to see Brooke, a deep cut down her attacker's back.

"HELP!!!" Brooke screamed as the man staggered after him.

Abigail, sick and disoriented cleared one thought. She was safe for now. Brooke had just saved her life. Her vision went blurry. Then everything went black.
