Lokeyia led Abigail into a dodgy looking area. Huge rubbish bins lined the alleyway. Abigail heard a sound and gasped.
"Quick!" Lokeyia snarled, pulling open a huge bin lid and jumping inside. Abigail stared around for the source, before Lokeyia grabbed her upper arms and dragged her in, closing the lid far enough for an eye to see what was happening outside.
"Don't you think it'll be a bit suspicious if we turn up, stinking like rubbish bins?" Abigail asked.
"Shut up!" Lokeyia hissed. Abigail glared at her.
A group of older teenage boys walked past, laughing as they did. When they turned down another alleyway, Lokeyia opened the lid slightly more and peeked out. She jumped out, landing on all fours and Abigail followed her, gently landing on her feet. They sneaked down the alleyway and found a dodgy looking shop selling knives, swords, masks, disguising materials and so many other things. Abigail dived under the window and Lokeyia snuck in.
"There's a bell on the door?" Abigail asked.
"Yes." Lokeyia breathed back.
When Lokeyia was inside, she slipped in behind a cabinet. A man with a long beard and tasteless tattoos walked in.
"Hello...hello! Is anyone there?" the man groaned, removing the doorbell. "This doorbell is so stupid!"
He shuffled away. Lokeyia slid out from behind the cabinet and grabbed two black masks. She slipped one over her face and put the other in her bag. Lokeyia slipped out and snatched two knives from an open glass cabinet and slipped out the front door.
Lokeyia took a long knife to herself and gave the shorter, serrated one to Abigail. Unlike Sara's knife, these knives folded inside themselves so that only their handles were visible. Abigail led Lokeyia down the extremely long alleyway and found a clothing shop, while establishing a plan with Lokeyia. Abigail and Lokeyia marched into the clothing shop. Lokeyia chose a huge amount of clothing and went to the changing room while Abigail 'browsed'. She began thoroughly annoying the woman working there, insisting she told her how the clothing looked.
Abigail switched off the alarm system and CCTV. She grabbed black knee high socks, a short black skirt and a t shirt with 'a brain needs a book like a sword needs a whetstone'. She snatched up flared navy pants with a matching business jacket and a white shirt. Abigail slipped the clothing and some random shoes inside her bag. She grabbed clothing at random and making sure she had the right amount of clothing, raced out of the shop.
Fifteen minutes later, Lokeyia emerged and they went back to the horses, Magda, and Sara. They were both very pleased. Magda worked with Sara's makeup.
Lokeyia wore flared navy pants, a matching business jacket, a white shirt and short navy boots. Her long hair was tied up into two buns. She had a tattoo near her eyebrow with black eyeliner. Lokeyia had smoking eyes and full red lips.
Sara wore grey stockings and a grey shirt with short sleeves. She wore a white flowered skirt and black flats. Sara's hair was tied up into two ponytails. Magda gave her bright pink lipstick, and a pinkish blush.
Magda wore black stockings and a matching black short sleeved shirt. She had a matching grey skirt and the same black flats as Sara wore. She curled her straight black hair, put on black eyeshadow and eyeliner and put on a dark purple lipstick.
Abigail wore black socks that went slightly above her knees, a short black skirt and the t shirt with a bookish quote. Her red brown hair hung in naturally gentle waves. Abigail had a crimson lipstick, an absolutely huge amount of mascara and black eyeliner. Magda tied her hair into a rather messy bun.
They were ready. To discover. To see what was inside Merope.
