Annah, Sara, Lokeyia, Magda and Abigail were in a semi dark room, discussing how they would escape. Magda still lay in a bed. Annah, Sara, Lokeyia sat in chairs around her sickbed. Abigail was still wounded, and stayed in the Hospital Building. However, today she was well enough to let Annah take her for a very short walk outside the building. Magda wasn't so well, she could barely walk around the small room.

"Well, we'd better escape at night." Sara said, lowering her voice.

"No, we should escape at day, when all the guards are around!" Annah exclaimed in a horrible mock imitation of Sara's voice "There's no need to state the obvious." she said, returning to her normal voice.

"Right. So we escape at night. I think that's decided." Magda said, and everyone nodded assent.

"OK, so we should leave from the front entrance. I think it would be the safest spot." Lokeyia suggested.

"Sure. Let's leave from the most heavily guarded place!" Annah said, with an even worse mock imitation of Lokeyia's voice. Annah returned to her normal voice and glowered at Lokeyia.

"Are you stupid? You're welcome to but I'm not."

"OK it was just an idea!" Lokeyia replied.

There was a prickly silence in which Annah glowered at Lokeyia and Lokeyia rolled her eyes and turned away to face Magda. Abigail would generally tell Annah off, but she felt that it wasn't good to create hostilities while they were working together. Also, Abigail didn't have much to criticise Annah about because she had been so nice and helpful to her in the last few days.

"Right, so where shall we leave from?" Abigail asked, breaking the awkward silence.

"Abigail, I think we should leave from the East exit. It's furthest away from Merope and from them on, we can go North, to Asteria." Annah said kindly. Abigail guessed she had a grudge against Sara and Lokeyia, especially Lokeyia.

"We could be easily cornered." said Lokeyia.

"Says you." Annah replied swiftly, with an obvious sneer.

"There's no need to sound so... superior."

Annah laughed.

"Look at yourself, Lockie."

"Annah, please call her Lokeyia or Lokey." Magda said patiently.

Annah didn't respond but stared at the wall, as if embarrassed. Maybe she was.

After several hours, they created their Plan A. Annah would go to rouse Sara. Together, Annah and Sara would go and rouse Lokeyia. Then Abigail would be roused. And finally, Magda. By that time they would be in the East. They would go and grab their horses. Then, Annah would go and steal another horse from the same place where Jade, Mervis and Noctus were kept. Then, they'd run.

"Right." Abigail said and went through the plan again.

The door flew open and a woman with grey hair tied into a bun rushes in. Abigail immediately stopped

"Savannah! What are you doing here? You were requested to go and help Doctor Jones!" the woman shouted.

"Oh, sorry Miss. Lokeyia and Sara wanted to visit Magda. And well... I'm very sorry about that." Annah said, with a curt nod.

The woman studied her for several moments.

"It's too late, Savannah, you've missed your chance. Doctor Jones is very disappointed in you. He shall be writing to your cousin. Go down to Level 1, a patient has got a severe infection. I shall take the girl." she nodded at Abigail.

"Alright, I shall be right down there, Mrs. Starovich."
