The woman led Abigail into a corridor and looked at her closely.
"Miss. Abigail Hilton, may you please do the following. Please shrug your shoulders, wiggle your eyebrows, bend down so that your hands are cupped over your knee caps and finally grin at me."
Abigail did what she was told. When she finished, the woman asked whether or not she had pain doing so. Abigail didn't and said so.
"Then, I think it will be fine to drop you off to your Quarters. You're a Hunter, right?"
"Yes. Not meaning to be rude, what's your name?" Abigail asked.
"Oh sorry, Miss Hilton my name is Imelda Starovich." she said.
"By the way, you can call me Abigail. Not Miss Hilton please."
Imelda nodded and smiled. We walked down to the base floor and walked out the door. She led me out the door. When we were out of the building, Imelda turned to me and fixed my green eyes to look at her grey ones.
"Abigail, dear, what were you and Savannah talking about around Miss Magda Leed's sickbed?"
Abigail swallowed. If Imelda actually overheard them talking, she and her friends would be dead.
"Talking about how we escaped Cirices to come to Tarabia." Abigail said in a somewhat convincing manner.
Imelda looked pretty convinced but there was still some doubt on her wrinkled face.
"Oh, OK. If that's all then..." Imelda said with a sweet note in her voice, then broke off.
Imelda quickly rasped a greeting to a guard on duty and continued.
"So how, are you friends with Savannah?" she asked.
"Yes. We find her kind and very hospitalising." Abigail replied.
Just at that moment, they arrived at the Hunter's Quarters.
"Miss Abigail, tell us if your wounds get worse." Imelda smiled and walked away.
When Abigail got to her room, she fell straight asleep onto the covers.
Abigail awoke late afternoon, where a golden red glint of light split through the small window.
"Oh dear!" Abigail gasped.
Abigail heard a loud thump on the door and jumped. In an instant, she had loaded her bow, ready to shoot and opened the door. Brooke screamed and jumped.
"ARE YOU MAD?! I'M YOUR HEAD! YOUR MENTOR!!!" he screamed.
He stared at Abigail, his chest heaving. He seemed to calm down and coughed loudly. His blue eyes avoided Abigail's.
"We have a dance today. I don't know whether you like it or not, but you have to join." Brooke said, focusing his eyes on a spot half a metre above Abigail's head.
"Then will you teach me? To do the dance. In Cirices we never dance." Abigail asked.
"Obviously I have to." he said sheepishly.
Abigail sighed.
"Fine then. Let's begin."
