I felt something warm covering both my ears. I opened my eyes to see Mark on the floor on one knee cupping his hands over my ears...
"Let's get married next month. " said Mark. i had been out of the hospital for a week now. "i know this is sudden but i don't want to waste time. For all we know one of us can get hurt and we wouldn't be able to do it."
"I agree but that means we need to start our shopping now." i said. I hated shopping. Walking around looking for something you might not find, hoping you have the money for it, ending up leaving with more than you went in for, etc...
"Okay i just need to put on pants then we can come home and do the video saying we're getting married, we probably should have told them were cannon first but you know this might make them happier."
"I agree but then i hit my head and i still have this ugly scar." i said touching the scar on my forehead.
