My eyes widened and as cliche as this may sound, it felt like we were the only ones on the field, It felt like I have never experienced being unhappy, and it felt like I have never attempted to kill myself..
I began to slowly noticed my surroundings again, My eyes makes its way to Mason's dark brown questioning eyes.
I nod with a bright smile plastered on my face, hoping that I don't regret this later on.
His hands rests on my waist and immediately, he picks me up and twirls me around once again.
"I'm so happy right now!" He says excitedly.
I look down at him in the air, as my eyes shifted to the sweat on his forehead, it was more apparent with all the headlights on the field, I can see that he works hard and is really passionate about football.
I look into his eyes and all I see is happiness filled inside of them.
"I am too." I say with a small smile, his eyes and smile grew.
"You just made me even more happier." He finally brings me down and pecks my lips.
A few minutes later...
Parents, friends, and etc.. are now on the field talking to all the football players and congratulating them.
"Mase, go and talk to your parents." I say trying to escape the deadly hug he was giving me right now.
"I'm okay." He muttered into my hair.
"Mason go, I'm not going anywhere." I say with a small chuckle, trying my best to reassure him.
"I live with them Ava, they don't need to see me right now and besides I'm feeling extremely comfortable right now." My eyes look down the field to see his parents chatting away with some people.
"I want you to go and talk to them." I say, wiggling my way out of his tight grip.
"Fine." He groaned and gives me a quick hug, he makes his way across the field to his parents, a small smile forms on my lips as I watch him jogging down the field.
"Well, look what we have here." Immediately I knew who's voice it was.
My breathing became a bit more rapid and my heart began beating faster, I slowly turned around and mentally rolled my eyes.
"Nice to see you too, Isabella." I say sarcastically.
"You become Mason's "girlfriend" and don't know how to act." She says, jealousy obviously laced in her voice.
"I'm not even his girlfriend yet but thank you." I say a bit surprised at my confidence.
"Your a ugly ass bitch and he's probably going out with you because he feels sorry for you." She says with a smirk, that crosses my mind a lot but I didn't let Isabella have the satisfaction of seeing that.
"Aww it's okay, your just mad that I'm wearing his jersey and your not." I say with a shrug.
"Y-y"
"You fucking bitch!" Melissa yells cutting Isabella off and standing next to me.
"Melissa is your little bitch now?" She asks looking me up and down.
"Just give me a second and I'll make you mine." Melissa says back with a smirk.
Parents and football players passed by us, ignoring what was going on.
"Honestly, what is your problem?" I ask.
Isabella rolls her eyes, flips her hair and starts walking away with her friends."I don't even understand why her friends come along and not even say anything." Melissa says glaring at their backs.
