I excitedly walk into the cafeteria looking around for Mason, I have been waiting all day just to see him.
My eyes quickly scanned around and finally they stopped on Mason at our table with the same girl I saw earlier, I walk up to them feeling extremely nervous.
"Hey Mason." I say giving him a side hug but sadly he didn't return my hug so I decided to ignore it maybe I'm overreacting a little.
"Uh, why are you sitting here?" Mason says looking me up and down in disgust.
The girl giggles and Mason immediately turns to her and gives her a wink.
"We always sit here together.." I whispered.
"I only sat here as a dare from the boys love." His hands intertwines with the other girl's hand.
My heart began to break every second that I'm here.. What happened to that boy that was always there for me?
"Time to go now." The girl says with a smirk.
"And just in case you didn't get the message, I'm breaking up with you." He says as his arm wraps around the girl's shoulder.
"Oh okay.." I say trying to hide the crack in my voice, I hurriedly walk out the cafeteria and finally released all the tears and pain that I was holding in.

I wake up in my room, rapidly breathing. I frantically look at the time to see that I have to get to school in an hour, I rush into my bathroom and quickly hopped into the shower.
A few minutes later my hair is down in its natural waves and I'm pretty much wearing a beige sweater with black leggings and my favorite comfortable moccasins.
I run down the stairs and quickly grabbed my car keys off the table, I walk out to my car in the garage and immediately started driving to school.
A few minutes later, I check my phone to see that I have 5 minutes to be in class before the late bell rings.
I decided to jog to class and in less than two minutes I'm waking inside Mr. Rodriguez's class.
I began to search for Mason but surprisingly he's not sitting in his seat, I sit down in my assigned seat, checking the door every now and then to see if he would magically walk in.
A while later the lesson Mr. Rodriguez prepared for today began to get really boring, which resulted in me dozing off and fighting myself on trying to stay awake, I finally gave up and gave my sleepiness a chance to take over.
*
"Angel, wake up.." Says a gentle whisper, the person smells really good so I just couldn't help but to grab on to their arms and snuggle into them a little closer.
"I'm okay.." I mumbled, wait a minute only one person calls me angel, my eyes shot open immediately to see Mason sitting right next to me with his annoying smirk plastered on his perfect face.
"Baby, class is about to end in 2 minutes." He says while checking the time on his phone.
"Oh." I say with a yawn. "You never sleep in class, how come you didn't get enough sleep last night?" He asks curiously with his brows furrowed.
After Melissa and I went to get some ice cream yesterday, I couldn't help but wonder all night long who that girl was on the field with Mason, maybe I should ask him? I just don't want to seem like a clingy or insecure girlfriend.
