It is said that the best feeling in the world is when you meet that one person; the person in which makes every problem appear to be small with just one look. The person who could give living so much meaning with just a small smile. I never understood why people were so obsessed with finding love. Giving that one person the power to destroy you completely with just a few words.
However I understand that feeling immensely ever since I met Mason. I wanted to give him my whole heart even if he shattered it into a million pieces; I would give it to him all over again. It's insane that one person could be given so much control over your happiness. When giving this person your heart it is the best feeling in the world but as everything within this world there are risks. Giving someone this kind of dangerous power allows them the ability to do whatever they want with it but we let them in without a single second of hesitation or question; we place our lives into their hands because when you fall in love being injured in the process is worth it.
Mason and I laid on his bed during this friday night, whilst he drew comforting circles on top of the skin that had appeared due to my black stripped crop top that had risen up. Prom was tomorrow evening and surprisingly I was as excited as ever. I took a small glance at Mason as his attention was on the large TV screen in front of the wall of his bed; he was watching a movie about football. His eyebrows would furrow once in a while when he didn't like what was being shown.
I continued to stare at him in awe as I had since I got to his house a few hours ago. His perfect lips pouted at a scene in the movie in which instantly brought out his light pink lips to be brighter than ever. What did I ever do to deserve someone so breathtaking? It is crazy how he doesn't really acknowledge how perfect he looked all the time. I never thought that I could ever find all the qualities I had ever dreamed of in one guy, my Mason. Absentmindedly, I caressed his cheek as I observed his perfectly structured jawline. After a while, he tensed up and immediately gazed at me with a hint of confusion laced into his now darkened brown eyes.
"What are you doing?" He asked with a slight husky whisper.
I quickly moved my hand from his face as my cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Before I could place my hand back onto my lap; his firm hands grasped my wrist in a soft manner as he set them onto the side of his face. He gave me a disapprovingly playful glare and sighed.
Heat filled with a vast amount of desire appeared onto the skin of my earlobe, "Did I ask you to stop?" He asked in harsh breaths.
Nervously I stared into his darkened eyes and replied, "No"
He turned from the side of his bed and positioned himself between my thighs and bit my ear. My lips widened in shock at what he was doing but mostly at the sudden tightness within my lower abdomen.
With an intense gaze, he questioned, "Then why did you, angel?"
An overpowering amount of heat filled my body instantly, It began to get really hot. Although it was usual for Mason to be playful like this. Recently his tedious acts were beginning to effect me more than it usually did. Melissa had definitely opened my eyes to Mason a bit more which freaked me out since I never felt this type of weird pleasuring feeling ever. As I was trying to comprehend everything I was feeling, my name kept being called out.
"Are you okay?" Mason's worried face appeared closely in front of mine as he stared at me intently.
I cleared my throat and finally answered, "Y-yeah, I just feel weird."
He placed his palm against my forehead, "You seem to be warmer than usual." He mumbled to himself. He then placed his hands onto my face and stared directly into my dull eyes.
