Hello guys.. I know I haven't been on here for a while now and I am so sorry. I have been in writers block for so long and every time I would want to write I couldn't due to the stress of not knowing what to write about for the next chapter, school and work. I hope you guys can forgive me <3 I suggest you guys read the previous chapter to have some sort of recap. Love you guys so much.

As we ate dinner, I noticed how Alissa would stare at Mason the way I always do. Her eyes were filled brightly with love for him, love that I have grown to learn is the most beautiful and powerful thing to have for someone. This mysterious and captivating thing that we know can bind us to a person making us feel all their emotions and making us do whatever it takes to make them happy, even if it breaks us to pieces to do it.

The love I have for Mason is so incredibly strong that I was willing to let him have Alissa while I stepped away just to make him happy because she had a way of making him more happy than I believed I ever did.

"Mason remember those miniature tree houses we use to create in the backyard." Alissa said with a giggle whilst she properly placed a cracker and cheese in her mouth.

Mason's face instantly brightened up, "Definitely, how could I forget." He paused and chuckled, "Those were the days."

My eyes were glued on my lap as everyone at the table ate dinner and talked about memories that they had together.

Mason's hand swiftly made it's way onto mine underneath the posh table cloth, he leaned closer and whispered in my ear.

"Why haven't you touched your food angel?"

My eyes widened, Mrs. Sanders probably got the idea that I was being rude.

I grabbed my fork and began to eat the broccoli placed on a small portion of my plate.

"I am sorry." I mumbled, having a double meaning to the sentence.

Mason turned towards me and frown, "What's wrong?"

I sighed and quickly plastered a smile onto my face.

"Nothing." He gazed at me with a look, reminding me that we were going to discuss this later.

"Masey, prom is coming up at my school and I have no one to go with." Alissa sighed, "I was hoping If you could be my prom date?"

I stared at her in shock that she would have the nerve to ask him knowing that I was right next to him

"Um, I was planning to take Ava." He voiced whilst smiling at me.

"Obviously our proms are two different dates, you could be at both." She smiled.

"Of course, if it's okay with Ava." Mason said resulting in everyone at the table to stare at me awaiting for my answer.

I had a strong urge to say no, "It's fine." I uttered.

"Great! We need to go shopping together immediately." She squealed excitedly at Mason.

"Why?" Mason asked with confusion laced in his voice.

"First of all I want your tie to go with my dress and I would love your opinion on what you think I should wear."

Mason playfully scoffed, "Fine."

"Your the best." She said jumping up from her seat and walking towards Mason, giving him a unnecessary bear hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Ava, It would be a pleasure If you can accompany Mason to my party tomorrow."

"Sure."

A while after the dinner, Mason intertwined our hands and took me up to his room.
