Ava: missing ur bf?
Me: speaking of, hows dava?
Ava: perfect as usual

Ava: aw don't feel bad, Salex will get together after the tour
Me: yup & did I tell u that Alex complimented dava...
Ava: 1 thing I actually like ab him
Me: hey! he defended u when u pushed Hannah into the pool
Ava: tru, but still don't like him
Me: well we all hv diff standards
Ava: u went low sar
Me: thats ur opinion
Ah, that'll keep Ava thinking for awhile. Now to enjoy my free time.
Ava: whatever. but we hv a prob

Ava: u need to go to Maryland
Me: but its a million miles away

Me: how am I suppose to explain this to my parents

Ava: I am Ditchwood detective, I got u covered

Ava: so the show is on fri, which means u can practice on the way there..
Me: so I hv to start on Thursday night, which means I get there by fri morning
Ava: now ur catching on
Me: but HOW am I suppose to get there
Ava: danny's dad could drive all of us to Maryland
Me: when did this become a group thing
Ava: do u wanna see Mr. Yt or not
Me: fine
Ava: & I finally got the perfect excuse
Me: which is..?
Ava: we're going on a fieldtrip for 2 days...
Me: wow
Ava: hey! u got a better one?!

I go downstairs to find my parents sitting on the sofa, watching some tv.
"Mom, Dad..?" I get their attention.
My dad pauses the tv, faces me, as does my mom.
"There's a fieldtrip on Thursday," I tell them.
"To where?" Dad asks.
"Maryland."
"Wow, a couple years ago it was a ropes course. Now Maryland, Ridgewood's really steeping up it's game," Mom gasps.
