--1 week later--

Everything's been good. Salex's been a little distant. But Mara--Saraya's been really nice. I guess all those months twiddling our thumbs were worth it.

"Maya, how long did your mom say that you can stay here?" I ask Maya, while I slam my locker door.

"And when did you decide to show up at Ditchwood?" Ava adds, gathering her books from her locker.

"Ok, so..my mom said that I won't be at Queens High School," Mom confesses.

"Aw, where are you gonna go now..?" I ask Maya.

"My mom also said that we're moving..--" I cut her off. Maya develops a smile.

"YAYYY," I squeal. Maya joins in and we recreated the squealing moment in the car moment from last week ago.

"Omg," Ava annoyingly sighs, walking off to ELA.

"Did you get your schedule yet--" I get cut off by her.

"Social Studies," she reads off her schedule.

"Same," I smile.

"Fate," Maya laughs.

"Yess," Sara laughs.

That brings back flashbacks from 2017. Ah the good times.

*Ava's POV*

I love Saraya. But they can be annoying. Do they seriously have to be rilaya? But at least, Sara isn't ranting about Salex--but then again, I asked for the details. But whatever, I still have Danny as my savior through this year. Thank god.

"Hey, honey," Danny greets as I stand next to him in the hallway, waiting for Ms. Shoeman.

"Hey, Danny," I smile as my back against the wall.

"Last week was interesting," Danny starts up a conversation.

"Speaking of, I saw Riley and Maya 5 minutes ago,"

"Oh gosh," Danny laughs.

"They squealed," I cringe.

"Did they--" I cut off Danny.

"Yep," my eyes water of some much cringe.

Danny hugs me. "Just think of Dava." Dava pats me on the back.

Thanks, Danny. At least, Dava's here to make Rilaya more tolerable. I hope they're having the best time in Social Studies.

*Maya's POV*

I'm so excited to be moving to Charlotte! Closer to my sis, making new friends, having a more bigger house..Ah, this is gonna be great. There might not be subways, Julliard, or free opportunity to get into NYU, but I'm gonna say it. Charlotte's way better.

"If you think Charlotte's way better than NYC, then you got it all wrong," Sara murmurs.

"But you're here," I say.

"Ya, but you haven't seen all of Hank's cousins yet," Sara nervously looks around.

"Oh right. Cause 1 of Hank's cousins would totally be the principal," I sarcastically roll my eyes.

"Omg, here he comes," Sara gasps.

A tall, fat, bald man walks down the hallway.

"Is that Hank?" I ask with a laugh.

"Principal..Hank," Sara mumbles.

"Oh god," I murmur.
