--Saturday Morning--
*Maya's POV*
Ah, today's the day...
Me: u ready?
Sara: yess
Me: we're suppose to meet @ school in 5
Sara: see u there
"Mom, Crosby starts in 10 mins!" I yell, as I come downstairs.
"Sure, Honey. Just take something with you," Mom advises.
"I think they give you breakfast there," I inform, eating an apple.
"Well just in case," Mom adds.
"Well see you in a little bit," I wave bye to Mom.
"Bye, sweetie!" Mom waves back.
--At School--
"Is it weird that I'm actually happy that I'm not home..?" Sara asks.
"No, I feel the same--in New York, on Saturday mornings, all we would do is binge netflix," I chuckle.
"That sounds fun," Sara chuckles.
"Thanks for joining Crosby Scholars, new recruits," the announcer announces. "We have a new recruit joining us..Mr. Aiono," he reads off a slip. "And he'll be showing you around Crosby, and he will also be the new campus coordinator."
This is gonna be a fun shock for Sara.
*Sara's POV*
Wait. What. Mr. Aiono..no. It has to be a different Aiono--but then again, how many other Aionos are there in the world..?
Omg..Alex. Alex walks up next to the announcer. "Hey, guys. I'm Mr. Aiono--but please, call me Alex. I'll be the new campus coordinator, and tour guide," he quickly introduces himself. "Follow me to the shuttle buses out in the front."
"Fate was desperate," Maya chuckles.
"i should've known," I giggle.
Maya smirks, as I follow Alex and a few other new Crosbys.
--At Crosby's--
"Alex will meet with each of you--individually, to get to know you better," the announcer from the school informs.
"Ok, first up is..Hannah," Alex reads off his list.
"Fate," Hannah mouths, as he walks up to Alex.
Ah, great. I swear if Andrew's here too..ugh, great.
"I ship," Andrew mouths.
*Maya's POV*
I bet Sara liked her surprise..I wonder what Alex is gonna say to her when they're all alone..there has to be a disease for shipping a ship too much--well this is called Salexitis.
"Same, Maya," henry sneaks up behind me.
"Well, well, well, we meet again," I chuckle, as he embraces me into a hug.
"I ship," Sara giggles, as he looks at Henry and me.
"Once Maya told me about her little Salex plan--I had to see how this one went," Henry develops a smile, looking back at me.
"I appreciate what you're doing for Salex, Menry. But sometimes, I just wanna hang out with Maya," Sara tells me.
"We hang out--we are going to New York after all this," I remind her.
