Second chance: Part 71

Tony and Ziva took up their guns. Tony walked over to Ellie and took away the tape over her mouth. "Upstairs" Ellie said. "Go I have her" Tony said and united the ropes. Ziva walked upstairs. Every room was opened except Avery's. She held her gun tight in her hands as she opened the Avery's door. "So nice of you to join us" she heard a voice said. "Mommy" Avery screamed. The man slapped her across her face. "Shut up!" Avery was in pain and started to cry. "Step in slowly" he said. Ziva did as she got told. "Close the door and lock it." Once again she did as she got told. She stood against the door with her gun in her hands. She was near to pull the trigger when he speaked. "You have two choices. Kick your gun over to me or shoot me. But if you shoot me, she will die' I've placed a bomb under her chair." Ziva laid her gun on the floor and kicked it away. "Let her go. I'd do whatever you say." Ziva said. "Mommy" Avery cried. "Shut up!" He was close to hit her again but Ziva stopped him. "Stop! Don't hurt her. You want me, not her." She took a deep breath. "Avery it's gonna be alright. Stay calm and be quiet." Ziva said calmly and took some step in. "Stop. Don't take another step closer to her! Go back to the door and turn around to it." Ziva did as he told her.

Downstairs
Tony united Ellie. He helped her to stand up. He walked over to the couch with her. Tony grabbed a fuzzy blanket and wrapped it around her."Stay here. I'll be right back" he said. "Don't leave me" Ellie said shaking. "I'll check upstairs. I'll be back again." Tony walked upstairs with his gun. He looked in all rooms and tried to open Avery's door, but it was locked. "I'm fine, Tony. Avery is here with me" Ziva said from the other side of the door. "Mr. DiNozzo there is a note to you downstairs." Tony nodded, he couldn't do anything to open the door. He walked down to Ellie. Ellie sat on the couch, shaking like she did when he left. Tony walked to her and sat down next to her. "Ellie? Ellie?" He said. *flashback* Ellie and Avery sat on the floor next to the couch, playing with her toys. They heard someone knock on the door. "Ima, daddy!" Avery screamed and ran to the door. Ellie looked at her watch and said "Avery wait, don't open the door." But she did. Ellie stood up and saw the man. He had his gun pointing at Avery's head. "Don't come closer" he said. "Ellie" Avery said scared. "Walk in" the man said. "Be quiet, both of you" he said and closed the door. "You listen carefully" he said to Ellie. "Do as I say and the girl won't get hurt, and either you." Ellie nodded. "Get a chair in the kithcen and take it out here. I pull the trigger if you try to do something else." Ellie walked out to the kitchen and got a chair, and walked back. "Sit down!" Ellie sat down and the man took ropes up from his bag. "Little Avery, don't you do anything stupied because then she will be dead." Avery cried. The man walked over to Ellie and tied her wrists and ancles to the chair. Then he went back to his bag and took tape. He walked back to Ellie and put the tape over her mouth. Then he laid the tape in his bag again and took up a note. Avery stood completely still, didn't dare to move. He walked out to the kitchen and laid the note on the table. Then he went back to Avery. He took his bag and grabbed Avery. He walked upstairs with her and that was the last Ellie saw of her. *flashback over* Ellie didn't notice him, she was in her thoughts. Tony touched her gently and she flew up. "Ellie, its ok. Your safe with me" he told her. "Do you know where the note is?" She pointed at the kitchen slowly. He walked out to the kitchen and found the note on the table. He took the note in his hands and read it. 'Hello mr. DiNozzo. It's nice to see your daugher again, also your beautiful Ziva. I missed them. Don't try to get in to Avery's room. Your little Avery will be blown up with Ziva. I've placed a bomb on Avery so don't try anything. I'm sure you wonder who I am. You have met me. Your team, or Gibbs and McGee, killed someone to me. I'm back for revenge and continue our plan that me, my brother and cousin started. I think you know who I am now.'
