Five hours later I'm sitting in an uber in Kansas City. I texted Devyn that I'm in Kansas and that they don't have to worry, I just had to get away. I also texted my boss that I won't come to work because of personal reasons. It's pretty great that he's so chilled about that. After that I immediately turned off my phone again.

"Here we are." my uber driver says and I pay him and get out. He drives away and I'm looking at the house Colby grew up in. I sigh and throw my backpack over my shoulder before I go and knock on the door. Colby has no idea that I'm here and I don't even know if Colby is home currently.

The door gets open by a friendly looking woman. As she scans my face for a moment, her face lights up.

"Hey, are you Elli?" she asks and I look at her surprised.

   "Erm, yea." I just answer.

"Come on in! Colby isn't home right now, but he'll probably be here for dinner." she says and let's me in.

"Thank you, Ms. Brock." She chuckles as I put off my shoes.

"You can call me Alice." Colbys mom claims and I nod.

"Who was it darling?" I hear a male voice ask from somewhere. Alice shows me to follow her and so I do.

"You won't believe it, but it's Elli." We enter the kitchen and I see a man stirring something in a pot. He looks at me and smiles.

"Oh hello. What a surprise." he says. Wow, they seem so nice. "I'm Zack." I smile at them.

"Why don't you help Zack making dinner?" Alice suggests and I just nod. "Does Colby know that you're here?" I shake my head.

"A surprise visit?" Zack asks smirking and I feel my cheeks turn red.

"Yes, wanted to surprise him." I say even though it's not quite the truth.

"Well, I'm gonna call him and see when he'll be back." Alice says and leaves the room.

"You can put your backpack down and would you get the butter from the fridge?" Zack asks and I do so. I put the backpack in a corner and get the butter.

Around one and a half hour later I sit at the floor, playing with the two dogs. They are super cute and I love them. Their names are Koki and Foxy and they love to cuddle.

We already ate dinner, but Colby is still not here. He'll come soon tho.

"Hey Elli?" Alice enters the living room with a frown. I look up. "Do you have any clothes with you or just that backpack?" she asks looking a little confused.

"Well, I kinda left in a hurry so I couldn't get clothes." I say and feel my cheeks turn red.

"I'm sure you can use some of Colbys clothes." Then the front door opens and my heart beats faster. I stand up, hoping he'll be happy that I'm here.

"Hey mom, sorry that it got so late." I hear him say and in the next moment appear. He looks at his mom, then to me. His face lights up immediately.

"Hi." I say a little shy as he basically runs to me and hugs me tight.

"What are you doing here, babe?" he asks sounding very happy. He looks at me.

"I needed to get away from LA, just for a little." I say quick and he nods, looking concerned. His mother comes to us.

"She is a beautiful person, Colby. Don't let her go." Alice claims, what makes me smile and Colby too.

"I know." he says looking at me. "Come on, I show you my room." Colby says and pulls me with him to the stairs.

"The door stays open!" his father calls from the kitchen. Colby stops for a second.

   "I'm 20!"

"And I'm your father." Colby sighs and rolls his eyes, what makes me chuckle, before he pulls me further into the first room to the right.

"So that's the room Cole Robert Brock grew up in." I say and look around smiling. It looks like a boys room.

"Yea, nothing special." he claims, turning to me. I smile at him as he puts his hands on my waist. "I've missed you." I bite my lower lip.

"It were three days." He just shrugs smiling.

"Yea, three days too much." I chuckle and Colby leans down to kiss me. It starts as a gentle kiss, but turns into a more passionated one. I put my hands behind his neck, with one hand in his hair.

"Colby?" Alice calls from downstairs and Colby and I seperate. "If you're hungry, we put some food in the fridge for you." Colby just looks at me.

"Okay! I'm not hungry." he answers his mom, still looking at me.

"So what did you do today?" I ask him. We are still in the same position in that we just kissed. I play with my right hand in his hair.

"Sam, I and a friend went to an abandoned house we spend plenty of time back in the days." he tells me smiling. "But what about you? Why are you here?" I sigh and let my hands fall to the side.

"I needed to get away from LA for a moment." He frowns confused and concerned.

"Why that?" I walk over to his bed and sit down, he sits down next to me, taking my hand.

"So I was about to edit a video I recorded and Sophie helped me. I came to a point where I left the room to get water for my voice, in the video. Sophie then called someone and said something like 'I can't tell her.' and she asked the other person how she or he would react if a friend tells her that she's your sister." I explain Colby and look at the floor the whole time.

"What do you want to tell me here?" he asks a little confused. I look at him.

"I hope I'm wrong, but I understood that she is my sister, even twin sister. Please tell me I'm overreacting!" I say pleadingly. He looks at me.

"I would love to, but I think I can't. It sounds like she talked about you. Why didn't you talk to her?" I sigh.

"Because my head told me to run. I couldn't think straight." He nods understanding.

"Well, let's not think about that. I'm invited to Sams family tomorrow for lunch. You wanna join?" I look at him.

"No, they don't know I'm here so the food would be–"

"You don't know the Golbachs. They make food for ten when they are four." Colby says and I smile.

"Fine. I'll come." I agree and am frankly happy about that. "Oh, by the way I didn't take any clothes with me." He smiles.

"No problem, I have enough." He leans to me and kisses me as something else comes in my mind. "What's wrong?" Colby asks concerned.

"Nothing, I just remembered something." I say not really wanting to ask him.

"What is it babe?" he asks again and I sigh.

"It really isn't anything." Maybe I'll ask him some other time. Colby scans my face sceptical not believing me, but doesn't ask again.

Then he suddenly grabs me by the shoulders and a second later I'm laying on his bed and he half over me. His face a little over mine.

"I missed you." I say smiling.

"It were three days." he repeats what I said a few minutes ago.

"Three days too much." I repeat what he said smiling and he smiles too before he is leaning down and kisses me passionately.
