Without Her (Part II to The Risk Of Falling)

Without Her:

I stayed at the diner the whole night, crying my eyes out.

I didn't want to go to school the next day, I just literally stayed at the same booth, crying.

All I did the whole night, and probably until the sun rise, was cry. Pop gave me a free cup of coffee and a burger. He said he heard and saw everything last night and said he was sorry.

I leaned my head against the window, my cheeks still has stained tears.

My heart is broken into tint pieces from what Jughead said to me last night.

I couldn't forget every single word he shouted at me.

I shook my head, grabbed my bag and went home.

Once I arrived my house, I took my backpack and tossed all of my books and textbooks out. Taking a few clothes out of my drawer,  I shoved it in my bag.

I swung my backpack over my shoulder and took a piece of paper and pen and wrote something down. I folded it nicely and left the house. I left the piece of paper in Archie's mail box before walking towards the nearest bus station.

Veronica's POV

I walked to school and saw the whole gang, except Y/N. Maybe she's late.

But Betty's here, why would Y/N be late?

"Have you guys seen Y/N?" I asked. "No I haven't" Archie replied.

Kevin shook his head in reply. Betty and Jughead both have guilty looks in their faces.

"Betty... Have you seen Y/N?" I asked. "I... I haven't" Betty whispered.

"Jughead, Y/N mentioned she hung out with you last night. Where is she?" I asked the beanie boy.

Jughead looks at me and shakes his head as well. "I don't know" he whispered.

I scoffed as I texted Y/N and asked her where she is.

When the bell rang, I received no reply from Y/N which made me worry.

Throughout the whole time during class, I kept glancing over towards the clock, wishing it would ring.

When lunch came, I ran after Kevin who is making his way towards the cafeteria. "Kevin!" I shouted. He stops and faced me, "Hi Ronnie"

"Heard anything from Y/N?" I asked. "No I haven't" he shakes his head.

"Where could she be?" we entered the cafeteria and bought food.

We made our way to our usual take before sitting down. "Archiekins! Have you heard anything from Y/N?" I asked.

"No. She never texted me" he replied. "Where is she?!?" I shouted.

Betty and Jughead both were quiet while we were talking about Y/N.

What have they done?

Jughead's POV

What the fuck did you do Jughead?

You  just lost your best friend! All because you said those awful things to her! She's probably crying her eyes out right now! You idiot!!

I was mentally scolding myself for snapping at Y/N last night. I don't know what happened to me! I just can't believe she has the guts to tell me that Betty's just using me.

Why would Betty do that to me?

My thoughts were interrupted when Betty spoke. "Excuse me" she whispered then left the table.
