Y/N's POV

"I don't know" I mumbled. "He's gonna find out sometime y'know" Archie said.

"Of course I know that, Archie. Why do you think I've been avoiding Jughead?" I snapped Archie raised his hands in defeat.

"Okay okay, chill" he says. I sighed and leaned back against my seat.

"We'll help you, Y/N" Kevin says. I gave them a nod.

They talked about other stuffs while my brain is thinking of a way to tell Juggie.

We skipped afternoon classes and stayed at Pop's. Jughead isn't even going to class so we stayed here, away from the world.

By the time it was 3:00, we went to our separate ways. Archie has to go back to school for practice, Kevin went to the station since his father needs something. And even though Veronica and Betty doesn't want to go back to school, Cheryl dragged them back.

"You're not coming?" Cheryl asks. "No thanks, I'm good" I smiled. "Suit yourself" Cheryl nods her head before taking Betty and Veronica with her and they left.

That was then I realize that the shop was empty. Pop Tate and I are the only ones here.

"You okay kiddo?" he asked from behind the cashier. "Yeah, I'm great" I mumbled with a small hint of sarcasm.

Pop places the hand towel down before approaching me. "New York?"

"Oh" I said. "You heard that, huh?"

"Couldn't help but overhear it when Blossom has to scream out the situation" he laughs, "New York is one of the best places here on this country. You'll be fine there"

"That's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried about Jughead" I admitted. "He'll seriously hate me if he finds out I'm leaving"

"Y/N" Pop speaks up after a few moments of silence. "He's your best friend right? Now as your best friend, isn't he suppose to be the one who'll support you the most?"

"I guess so. But we've been through so much. I don't think he's ready to let me go just yet" I say.

"But he has to eventually. Nothing stays permanent in the world. I'm not saying this because I want you to leave. I'm saying this because it's the truth" he adds, "I'm sure you and your friends planned to leave this town someday, and that someday means today. No one knows what will happen in the future. Maybe you should just be thankful that you'll have the chance to explore some more places, and meet new friends"

I nod my head. I quickly wiped my tears away, "Thanks Pop" I smiled.

"No problem kiddo" he smiles. "Want more milkshake? All on the house"

"I'll have all of your milkshakes. So that I won't forgot its taste even when I leave" I smiled.

By 5:00, I went home and laid on my bed. My head keeps thinking of a speech on how I should tell Jughead that I'm leaving. I even filled one whole trash can with crumbled papers.

I stood up and picked my jacket and boots. I lightly opened the door to hear my mom and dad arguing.

I can't just pass by the door while they're screaming at each other!!

I closed my door and opened my window. I caved down the wall after closing my window and I safely hit the ground.

I hod my hands in the pockets of my jacket before walking to Jughead's trailer.

The walk to his trailer was a bit far but I have my music to keep my company.

Upon reaching Jughead's house, I knocked on the door.

He a seeds within a few minutes, his grey meanie sitting on his head, three layers of jackets covering himself. "Hi Y/N" he greets before stepping aside so I can walk in.

"Hey Jug" I replied, immediately feeling my heart ache. "What brings you here? Movie night? Food marathon?" he jokes.

I managed to laugh a little before sitting on his bed, taking a bottle of beer from the fridge. "Did something happen while I was not at school this afternoon? I passed by Kevin while he's walking to the station, he seems down" Jughead says before sitting next to me.
By now, the tears couldn't stop falling. I sobbed while covering my mouth to keep quiet.

Jughead pulls me in his arms, "Oh God, Y/N. What happened?" he asks. I simply sobbed louder in response, my hand that was blocking the sound was not working.

Jughead didn't ask any further. He simply wrapped his arms around me even tighter. Jug whispered soft words by my ear and cradled me in his arms, occasionally rocking me like a baby.

After a few more minutes, I finally calmed down and stopped crying. "You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah. Thanks" I said.

"Now what's wrong?"

"I... I..." I said, trying to find the right words to say. "My parents are sending me away" I whispered.

"What?"

"Myparentsaresendingmeaway" I said a little bit more faster.

"What?"

"MY PARENTS ARE SENDING ME AWAY!!" I shouted.

Jughead's smile faded, "They're sending you away?"

"Yes"

"W-Where? Why?"

"They thought it's a bad idea that I live in a town where a killer's on the loose. They're sending me to New York to live with my uncle"
Jughead avoided making eye contact as I explain my situation to him. "Jug, I'm sorry. I can't do anything, because ones my parents made a plan on something, nothing's gonna change it. I'm sorry, I would've stopped them if I could" I cried again.

Jughead stands from the couch and walks away from me. "I'm so sorry, Juggie. I don't want to leave you, or this place, I swear" I cried.

I followed Jughead and hugged him from behind, "I am so so sorry, Jughead. Please talk to me"

Jughead turns around and I can see more tears falling from his eyes. "I'm not mad at you, Y/N"

"You-You're not?"

"No" Jughead holds my shoulder and looks into my eyes. "I know you're parents are doing this because they know what's best for you. I can't compete to that, they're you're parents for God's sake! I'm letting you go because I have to. But I know we'll see each other again soon"

I smiled at him, "Are you sure?"

"Yes. I believe that you'll be back"

*Time Skip*

I stood with Cheryl, Kevin, Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead.

"We'll miss you, Y/N" Veronica says and pulls me in her arms. Everyone soon joined in.

Everyone was crying.

Even me.

"I'll miss you guys" I cried. I will miss them more than my own parents.

"Don't forget about us, okay?" Archie mumbles. "I'll never forget you losers" I laughed.

I gave Jughead a solo hug after everyone gave me their own goodbye speech.

"Well, they mostly said the things I wanted to you" Jughead laughs. "But.... I will miss you, Y/N"

I smiled, "I'll miss you too, Juggie"

We hugged each other until my flight was called.

Here's to my good life in a town called,

Riverdale.
