True colours (Author's POV)

Don't play music yet. I will say when.

Glory woke up sweating, tears flowing down her snout. She'd had a bad nightmare, everyone she loved was dead and a dark voice kept whispering to her, 'It is all your fault.' She got up and wobbled over to the forest of spikes, in the fighting room and lay there crying.

(Deathbringer's POV)
I woke to the sound of sobbing, echoing around the cave. I tip toed over to the source and found Glory's tail sticking out behind a rock, it was pale green, shaking uncontrollably. "Glory? You ok?" I asked, worry littering each word.
"Yes, go away." She replied, voice breaking from the amount of tears that have been shed. This went on for hours, she missed sun time and didn't eat.

I leaned against the rock, opposite sides to her. Looking down at the floor, a single tear ran down the left side of my snout, splashing down, making it seem like a part of me had just left, glistening black on the floor.

(Author's POV)
You can start the song now.

He started to hum a song to himself.
"You with the sad eyes," He started to sing, softly,
"Don't be discouraged,
Oh I realise,
It's hard to take courage,
In a world full of people,
You can lose sight of it all,

Can make you feel so small.

Can't remember when,"
She started to joined in but he didn't hear,
"I last saw you laughing.

And you've taken all you can bear,

And I'll see your true colours shining through,
I see your true colours,
And that's why I love you." He faded out.
"So don't be afraid to let them show," Glory sang louder, she got up and walking round to face Deathbringer. Looking up, he was surprised to see her. Standing up, snout facing snout, they started to sing,
"Your true colours,
True colours are beautiful,"

They started to sing,
"I see your true colours shining through, (true colours)
I see your true colours,"
Harmonising, they looked into each others eyes,
"And that's why I love you,
So don't be afraid to let them show,"
They both started to sing,
"Your true colours, (true colours)"
They started to sing as a duet, looking up, synched with each other,
"are beautiful,"
Deathbringer started to sing, grabbing Glory's talons in his,
"Like a rainbow."

She started to sing softly, pressing her forehead on his,
"Ooh ooh oh ooh like a rainbow,"

Deathbringer started to sing in a solo, forehead still pressed together,
"Ooh can't remember when,"
She started to sing along with him, both looking into each others eyes, smiling,
"I last saw you laughing,
Ooh oh oh,
This world makes you crazy,
Taking all you can bear,
Just, call me up,
'Cause I'll be always be there.

And I see your true colours, shining through,
I see your true colours,
And that's why I love you,
So don't be afraid, (don't be afraid)
To let them show,

True colours are beautiful," Glory faded out, Deathbringer continued to sing, wrapping his wings around her, swaying softly,
"Like a rainbow."
They started to sing together again,
"Ooh ooh oh like a rainbow,
Ohh ohh ohh." When they had finished they where panting slightly, they had sang are hearts out.

Looking deeply into each others eyes, they kissed, full of emotion, leaning into each other, deepening it. The glow of the worms above, lit the cave ceiling up like a night sky full of stars, illuminating the scene bellow. They held this for two minutes before they had to split for air.

(Glory's POV)
'Wow I never new that Deathbringer could sing like that, it was amazing, our voices fitted together in perfect harmony. His gentle, loving, angelic voice and my soft, emotion filled. A match made in heaven' I thought, tears forming at the edges of my eyes. "Glory, whats wrong? You can always tell me, I'll never laugh." He softly said, breaking me from my trade of thought.
"I had a bad nightmare, all I love was just laying there in front of me, dead, and this voice kept on telling me it was my fault." I choked out, resting my chin on his shoulder.
"Oh, Glory it's just a dream. Nothing bad will happen. There all alive." He said reassuringly.
"The worst part was, I had to watch a spear stab out you heart, something holding your throat, strangling you. You where then thrown at my talons... dead." I said over my increasing amount of tears.
"It's alright Glory I'm alive, nothing happened. Now let's go get you some food and lay down for a while." He said, walking me of too get some food.

(Author's POV)
After eating some food, they laid down. Well Glory curled up and Deathbringer lay next to her, Glory fitting between his chin and tail. He laid his wing over her, keeping her warm. The sign of mates, a relationship between two dragons that lasted a lifetime.
