Chapter 1 // Kenma (re2)

Kenma closed the front door behind his back. "Home", he quietly mumbled as he entered the house. He could hear his mom's footsteps approaching from the living room. "Kenma, you are home! Did you enjoy yourself?" She asked him with joy.

"Uhm... yeah." The teen said as he took his shoes off and put them on the floor next to the door. "I'm going upstairs", the second-year spoke to his mother as he picked up his stuff and rushed up the stairs.

Kenma quickly threw his stuff into a corner and grabbed his phone to play his one and only love; mobile games. Unfortunately for the setter, he didn't get the chance to start up his game, instead, he is met with a notification. With a little sigh Kenma let himself fall down onto his bed, he reluctantly opened the message. The teen wasn't sure if he was up to socialize with anyone after coming back from a weekend of socializing.

Right after the practice match, Kenma had exchanged phone numbers with Shoyo.

Kenma smiled a bit as he thought back at Shoyo's reaction when he saw that Kenma was on Nekoma's team. He seemed really surprised even though Kenma made it very clear that they would meet again. Kenma quickly drafted a response to send the redhead.

Kenma opened his Appstore and scrolled through some of his favourite games. After finding one he expected Shoyo to like, he copied the link and sent it to the redhead.

The teen looked at his phone with a shocked expression. Kenma almost dropped his phone on top of his face but managed to somehow catch onto the device before actually dropping it. He surely didn't expect that response... "Shoyo, I was kidding..."

"Shoyo is coming next week," Kenma said it with a smile creeping onto his face.

To think that someone would come all the way to Tokyo to see Kenma made the setter feel warm inside. After closing his private chat with Shoyo, Kenma could finally start playing his game but he wasn't able to focus. The teen kept thinking about the redhead whom was coming over next week.

Kenma did a few attempts to play one of his favorite games... Game over, it's spelled in huge letters on his screen. "I can't focus!" He whined to himself as he sat up again. "Stupid game", the teen mumbled as he scrolled through his contacts, checking if anybody was online.

Kenma didn't have to search for a long time, he was slightly surprised to receive a message from Kuroo before the teen even reached his name. That's impressive since Kenma only had about twenty contacts.
