PART 16 RECAP:

"Woah," A voice behind me says. I turn around and see Spider-Man standing there.

"Sorry Spidey, your services aren't needed here anymore," I said while giving the woman back her purse.

Spider-Man walked closer to me, "Who are you?'

I panicked, I didn't want Peter to know who I am or else he would be too worried about me. I spat out the only thing I could think of.

"I'm Gemini," I say.

PRESENT:

"I'm Gemini," I say.

Spider-Man stared at me until we both heard the men regaining consciousness. Spider-Man looked over at the men and shot them with his web shooters.

"We better get outta here," Spider-Man said.

"Yeah,"

"May I give you a ride somewhere?" He asked.

I panicked and said, "Just drop me off wherever you're going. I can get home after that."

His lenses got bigger, "Are you sure?"

"Yeah," I said.

He put his arms around my waist and we swung tree by tree until we landed on our apartment building roof.

"Thanks," I say.

"So, what made you decide on the name Gemini?" He asked his lenses getting smaller.

"Because I'm two-faced. My superhero side, and my normal side." I said, "Like the zodiac sign, Gemini."

This is only my first time ever fighting someone so I didn't understand what made me refer to myself as a superhero.

"That's really cool!" He says, "But you're not a Gemini?"

"No, I'm a Libra."

"Cool! So am I!" He says.

I smile, I feel bad that Peter doesn't know who I am, but if he did know, he would be too worried about me.

"So, are you a new superhero?" Spider-Man asked.

"I don't know, I just saw the women in need so I helped her," I said.

Spider-Man looked at me, "Well you seem really good at what you do, I think you should keep it up," He looked away and then back at me and his lenses got smaller, "Wait, how did you make the dumpster move?"

I forgot about my telekinesis, "Um, I kinda have telekinesis powers," I said softly.

"Really? That's so cool!"

I laughed at how much Peter is saying the word "cool".

"How long have you had them?" He asked.

"My whole life," which is true, according to Tony Stark.

"Wow, you're pretty dope," Spider-Man said.

I snickered, "Dope?"

"I'm trying to sound cool," He said embarrassed.

"Well, you're doing a great job," I say.

"I-I should get going," He says shooting a web somewhere, "But I hope to see you again one day," He swings away.

"Yeah," I say to myself, "Maybe you will."

The next morning I woke up late. Staying out later made me really tired and sleep past my alarm. Elise overslept too.
