Your POV:

"OK, what did Peter call you for?" I ask Elise as she returns to the kitchen.

She has a smirk on her face, "He was just telling me about your birthday gift."

She sits down acting like nothing happened, "And?" I ask.

"You're going to love it. Trust me," She says pouring herself cereal.

I groan and sink down into my chair. I love surprises but anything having to do with Peter right now makes me miss him more. I want to know if my gift was enough for him. I feel like he's going to get me something amazing and my gift will look like crap.

"You know I can just read your thoughts," I tell her.

"Go ahead, I've cleared my mind of all things, Peter."

I try to read her thoughts. All she's thinking about is her cereal that she's eating right now.

"Dammit Elise," I sit back in my chair.

She giggles, "See, I'm just that good."

I make a face at her and she sticks out her tongue.

My phone buzzes and I look to see who it is.

Ned: Come to the coffee shop downtown!

Me: Why?

Ned: Just come on!

"Ned wants us to come to the coffee shop downtown," I stand up and grab my little maroon wristlet and wait for Elise to grab her little purse.

We walk out the door and walk towards town. It takes us about 15 minutes to get there.

We walk into the door of the coffee shop and I notice Ned, Michelle, and Liam all sitting at a table.

"Hey, guys, what are you all doing here?" I ask and sit down next to Liam. He gives me a polite smile.

"I came here and Michelle was in the corner reading a book, and then Liam walked in, so we all decided to stay for a little celebration before we go out for ice cream tonight," Ned said.

"I was forced," Michelle said, she looked up quickly from her book, "But happy birthday."

"Thanks," I said awkwardly.

"I have a great idea!" Elise exclaimed suddenly.

"What is it?" Liam asked.

"Let's all walk around town, and look in different shops. We each buy Y/N something for her birthday. But she can't see. One person will take turns distracting her while the other three shop,"

"Oh gosh Elise, you guys don't have to go through all that trouble for me," I sigh.

"We want to Y/N," Elise shakes my arm a little, "Right guys?"

Ned and Liam nod. Michelle gives me a thumbs up without looking up from her book.

"OK, fine. Let's go." I groan.

"Who's on Y/N duty first?" Elise asks.

"I'll do it," Liam says, "You guys look around and come back here when you're done and then we'll switch,"

"OK, see ya," Elise says.

The three walk out of the coffee place leaving just me and Liam.

I turn to him, "You really don't have to get me anything, I'm fine."
