Chapter 15: Untied We Stand

As the three of us were still surrounded by puppets, Mal said "Evie, Genesis. We need help!" I then saw a magic carpet flying to where we were, and turns out all our friends were here. "Here we come! Aks to the rescue!", Audrey said as they all flew down. Once they all landed, the puppets started to go for them instead. "Alright, ladies! Five, six, seven, eight! Take that! And that! And that! And that!", Audrey said as she and the girls started to kick the puppets. Mal and Evie went to help, but I was surrounded by a lot of puppets. As they were about to get me, I saw Jim coming towards me and he had his sword with him. He started to chop off the puppets heads and came to me. "Hey, Ruby! Morph, sword!", he said as Morph escaped his pocket and turned into a sword. I then grabbed him and started to fight the puppets as well. "Jim, what are you guys doing here? I told you that I could do this myself!", I told him as me and him were turning around and fighting at the same time. It kinda felt like a dance, but with sword fighting a bunch of puppets. "Ruby, I'm sorry! But you were right! Even Mal!", he said as we turned again. "What are you talking about?", I asked him. "I'm talking about what happened at the Jewel Bilee. Audrey felt bad for yelling at you and Mal, and everyone else is sorry too. I'm serious! We should've given you guys a chance to talk. Even Ben felt the same way too, after he wanted to ground you.", he said as we stopped fighting the puppets. I then looked at him and said "You all really mean it?" "Yes, we do. And I do too. I love you.", he said as he hit a puppet behind him. "Oh, Jim...", I said as I also hit a puppet behind me too. We both then smiled at each other and were about to kiss. But Evie came up to us and said "I hate to break up this romantic moment, but we have a kingdom to save!" I then looked at him and said "I have to go help Mal stop Zevon. Stay here and help the girls." "Ok, just be safe! I love you!", he said as I kissed him on the cheek. As I ran to Mal, I heard Audrey say to Zevon "You ruined everything! And you're not even enrolled here!" Zevon then threw potion at Audrey and she turned into a baby duckling. "I think it's a new improvement.", he said as I turned mad. No one messes with my family or friends. I finally made it to Mal and said "Mal, I'm going to help you stop him. But I don't have anymore pixie dust on me. How are we going to get up there?" Mal then took out her spell book and said "With a spell, of course. Care to say it with me?" I then smiled at her and we both said the spell. "Wing of bat and ravens eye. Lift us up into the sky!", we said as we both flied up. I landed safely on the bleachers, but Mal was so close from falling. I helped her land safely and she was now faced with Zevon. I then looked down and couldn't believe how high up I was. I saw Jim helping the girls fight the puppets and I saw that Ally was about to be attacked by one. "Don't worry, Ally! I'll save you. Kung fu powers! Activate! AHHHHHH!!!!!", I heard B.E.N yell as he went to go get the puppet away from her. But he slipped and fell, which caused the puppet to tumble over on Jordan and make her drop her lamp.
Jane's POV
After the genie bottle fell, we were all free. "Hey! We're free!", Carlos said. But we all screamed after we saw a giant puppet trying to step on us. "You're going down, you weird sized Pinocchio!", Carlos said as we all used our strength to push the puppet. It then fell over a bunch of more puppets and they were down. "Puppet dominos!", Carlos said as he fist pumped Jay. Finally, we were free from the lamp.
My POV
I was watching Mal flip Zevon over with the scepter in his hands. He then let go of it and Mal hit him with it. "It's over, Zevon! Give up!", she told him. He then got up and said "Not yet, Mal! I also stole your jewel!" I saw the jewel in his hand and Mal's eyes turned green. "No!", I said as Mal was about to give him the scepter. I then thought of an idea and went for it immediately. "AHHH!!!", I screamed. Because when Zevon was still controlling Mal with her jewel, I jumped him and tried to get the jewel out of his hands. "AH! Get off of me! AH!", he shouted as he tried to get me to let go. But I still held on to him and shouted "Give me the jewel!" But as I was still fighting on top of him, I saw that Mal's eyes were flashing green to grey. Turns out that every time I move the jewel away from her and back, she turns evil and good multiple times. It's just like how Jay did it to the both of us. "She's out of control! I have to get rid of the jewel!", I said to myself. But since I wasn't paying attention for a few second, Zevon pushed me off of him. "AHH!!!", I screamed as I was about to fall off the bleachers. Everyone down below was screaming too. I held on tight to the bleachers, but I couldn't hold on any longer. And Mal couldn't help because her eyes were in pain and she couldn't get up. Zevon then looked at me and said "Hahahaha! Looks like you're in a tight situation there, princess." As he was about to hit my hands with the scepter, Morph came up and flew around his face to get him away from me. "Ew! AH! Get this disgusting floating pink blob away from my face!", Zevon said as he grabbed Morph and threw him down. "Morph! No! Somebody catch him!", I shouted. I saw Ally running towards to where he was falling and she caught him. Luckily, he was safe. I then looked up at Zevon and he stepped on my hand to make me let go. I was now holding onto the bleachers now with only one arm and I was about to fall. "You know, I should probably thank you, princess. Because if it was for you, none of this wouldn't have happened if you just kept on working for me.", he said as I turned angry. He then smiled at me one more time and said "Well, have a gruesome landing! Hahahahaha!!!!!" He then hit my other hand and I fell. "AHHHHHH!!!!!", I screamed as I was falling to my doom. Everyone was screaming too, but I heard Jim yell out "Genesis! I got you, baby!" He then grabbed me before I landed on the ground and we both floated safely. Turns out he had pixie dust with him. After picking me up bridal style, we both landed and made it to Evie. "Thank goodness you're safe. Where's Mal?", Evie asked. "She's still up there with Zevon. He's controlling her with her jewel.", I told Evie as she saw that Mal was about to give Zevon the scepter. "Mal! That's my best friend you're messing with!", Evie said as she took off her tiara and used it as a boomerang. It then hit Zevon and made him drop Mal's jewel. I then saw that Mal hit the jewels and they were no longer under control of Zevon. He was now getting controlled over by the power of the jewels, until he frozed up like Ben was before. Mal then raised the scepter up in the air and restored the bleachers back to the way they were. She then turned Audrey back to normal and she said "We will never speak of this again." Mal then got rid of all the puppets and she landed the bleachers safely. I went up to the bleachers and said "Good job, Mal! Now, if everyone will please excuse me. I have to escort Zevon back to the isle tonight." "I'll take care of this, Genesis. I think we had enough craziest for one day.", Ben said as he went up the bleachers and grabbed Zevon. "Ow! Hey, watch the cape! Ow!", Zevon said while frozen. "Later, Zevon! Don't get lost. On your way to the isle. See what I did there?", Evie said as I laughed. "I saw!", Mal said. I then gave them both a hug and saw the other girls coming. "Genesis!", Audrey said as she gave me a hug. "Audrey! I'm so sorry, but I had to do it!", I told her. She then looked at me and said "No, Genesis. I'm sorry. I should've listened to you. You were right. Friends do need to stick together all the time. I just hope you understand and forgive me." I then grabbed her hands and said "Of course I forgive you! I forgive all of you! We're one big happy family, after all." Everyone then started to laugh and I did too. "Oh, Genesis. You dropped your mini box.", Mal said as she gave me a tiny red box. It looked more like a jewelry box. "I didn't drop this.", I said. "Well I saw that it had your name on it.", Mal said as I saw Jim looking surprised at me. "Wait, Genesis! I-", he said as I opened the box. I immediately was surprised. Because inside the box was a set of earrings that were my birth jewel; garnet.

I looked at the gorgeous earrings and turned to Jim. "Jim, did you made these for me?", I asked him as I still looked at the earrings. "Yes, Ruby. I did. It's because since it's our anniversary, I wanted to make you something instead of buying something too unique for you. And-", he said until I stopped him. "Oh, Jim! I love them. They're perfect.", I told him as I closed the box and smiled at him. "You do? I mean! You do! That's great! Happy anniversary! Hehe!", he said as I giggled. "Jim, no matter what kind of jewelry or gold you give me, I will always love you.", I told him. "And I love you too.", he said. I then smiled at him and said "Oh, you're wanting a kiss! I know you do! Come here!" "Oh!", he said as I grabbed him from his dress shirt and dipped him. I then started to kiss him all over his face, until Mal said "Uh... Hello, there's people watching you two." I then stopped kissing Jim and helped him get back up. His face was covered with kiss marks I left after kissing him. I then started to giggle as I saw him with a hilarious "in love" face. As everyone was laughing, my eyes turned purple again for some reason. But I didn't turn evil this time. "Hey, Mal? What about my eyes? If I don't have your jewel, why are my eyes still turning purple?", I asked her as she looked at my eyes. She then smiled at me and said "Don't worry, you're going to be fine. Turns out after my jewel controlled you and your magic, it gave you new magic." "But am I going to be fine with this new magic? What will it do instead?", I asked her again. "With your eyes turning purple, that could be a sign of danger, or it could help remind you on what's important.", she said as I smiled at her. (Spoiler alert in my Descendants 2 story, again for reminder.) Looks like for now on every time my eyes turn purple, that could mean something is wrong. And I'll know right away. As my eyes turned back to brown, I saw Mal taking the curse out of her jewel. Now it was curse free. She then picked it up and said "That should undo the curse. And now, just one more thing to do." "Jewel Bilee?", Evie said. "No! Jewel Bilee!", Mal said as we all jumped and cheered.
