HOGWARTS, SLYTHERIN DORMITORY

The orange flames of a small fireplace illuminate an octagonal room with thick stone walls and a vaulted wood ceiling that comes to a point. The room is home to five four-poster beds with dark green, velvet curtains. The heavy sounds of sleeping are heard throughout.

HARRY enters, tip of his wand glowing. He moves cautiously through the room until he finds the bed of his son. HARRY pulls open a bed-curtain, careful not to make a sound. He takes the large red egg from his pocket and places it discreetly under his son's pillow.

HARRY leans down to kiss ALBUS on the forehead and retraces his steps toward the door — but not before glancing down at SCORPIUS, who is lying in the next bed. HARRY leans ominously over SCORPIUS MALFOY's headboard. His judgmental gaze speaks for itself.

He lowers his head in concern and exits.
