So where's Bold Peak, the little mountain town where the Corbans live? It's on Baker Lake's west shore. Where's Baker Lake? Let me show you.
On this map, Google's red marker points Baker Lake, north-west of the North Cascades National Park in Washington State. It's a three-hour drive from Seattle, which you'll find on the bottom-left corner of the map.

If you zoom in to Baker Lake, you'll see it stretches east from Mt. Baker--the big white mountain on the top-left corner.
The dam at Baker Lake's south end formed Lake Shannon. And at Lake Shannon's south end you'll see Concrete, population 700. If you're a Supernatural fan, Concrete is the location for a hilarious episode with the giant Teddy Bear that gets depressed and tries to kill himself.
Now, Bold Peak is supposed to be between Mount Baker and Baker Lake.
See the white stream flowing straight from Mount Baker to Baker Lake? That's Boulder Creek, and it's Bold Peak's north limit.
