Can we try again?

(Questions/appreciation)

Okay, so lots of people have been leaving messages and comments asking me why Samira's family all have Muslim names when they are Christians and why she named her son Jameel, which is a Muslim name too.

Well, it would have come up later in the story, but hey ho, it doesn't matter I'll tell you guys now.

Mira and her family were once Muslims but her parents got converted when she and her siblings were little. And they all were stuck with their names.
And as for Jameel, I guess she named him, because she liked the name too much. Or maybe it's because I love the name 😁😉😋😋

Also, this is kind of my story too. I was born into a Muslim family (I got the name Sadetu, and my sister, Jemila, from my grandparents- they named me) but my parents got converted along the way (My grandparents are still Muslims tho) and I was stuck with the name.
And I've just kinda grown to love Arabic names. They sound so nice.

You can say that Samira and Sadetu do have some things in common lol 😊

So, yeah, that's why. I guess my upbringing and life experiences kind of influences my writing.

P.S:

This is not a book about religion or anything like that, and I don't mean to bash or show preferences to any religion, okay? I'm just clearing up some queries you guys have.
