It wasn't the end...
7 Months later
Dan was completely and utterly exhausted. he was on a flight back to London after 5 shows in Singapore and can't wait to go back to Phil. When he lands at Heathrow he collects his bags and heads through duty free till he's out the safety doors. He looks around and spots him, standing with flowers in his hand. he sees dan and smiles wide, quickly running over to him and hugging him tightly
"I missed you so much" dan sighs into phils chest. Phil giggles
"missed you too spork. how was Singapore? oh and these are for you" Phil hands dan the flowers, the same ones he gave him on the first show
"it was great! we went on a river trail and went to markets, I got you a lot of souvenirs" dan giggles as they head out of the terminal pick up and into an elevator to level 2 carpark.
"did you have to pay for parking?" dan asks. Phil shakes his head.
"nah you have to pay if you're longer than half an hour so we're good" Phil smiles. they head towards their car, They invested In a Tesla Model X in black. Phil had his licence before he met Dan but just didn't drive all the time, so they decided they'd get one because paying for 2 taxi's a day was very expensive. especially now that they have to travel. Phil helps dan put his bags in the back of the car and they get in and leave, its a dark cloudy day in London but its sure as hell nice to be back.
"how have you been without me?" dan asks
"lonely but thanks for calling me constantly" Phil giggles
"hows trafic on the M4?" dan asks, playing with the ring on his finger and smiling
"not too bad it's actually not too busy" Phil replies.
"Hows Sophie and Katherine?" dan asks, trying to make conversation
"they're good, they dropped in the other day because they found some of our old stuff and wanted to give it to us"
"ooo like what?"
"sex toys" Phil says calmly. dan blushes deeply
"the hell we didn't have any at their house? what!? Phil?! WHAT SEX TOYS?!" dan starts freaking out and Phil breaks out laughing
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding! its just some old art books. they said you had an obsession with drawing Hands so I had a look and you were really great dan, why didn't you ever show me those before?" Phil asks, dan turns darker pink, remembering all those art classes
"because they're yours.." dan mumbles
"they're what?"
"they're your hands!"
"you drew my hands? aha! dan why my hands?"
"because you have pretty hands and I can be a creep if I want" dan frowns and Phil laughs.
"right. well you should frame them. they're great!" Phil smiles. soon they pull into the underground carpark to their apartment, they didn't even realise they had one, its a private garage that locks and has 2 car spaces but lots of storage in the back behind a locked metal gate. they hop out and gets dans bags, walking to the elevator and going up.
"did you buy more hose plants whilst I was away?" dan asks. Phil nods in shame
"the balcony needs to look like a jungle you know, it makes it look pretty and also gives us privacy"
"yeah but you've got an obsession, it started when you proposed to me!" dan laughs as they head inside to their apartment, its changed a whole lot over the past 7 months, they completely forgot there was a study so they set that up with 2 desks next to each other with Macs and those gamer chairs, Phil has a Blue one dan has a pastel pink one.
"oh my god you need to cut them or the window cleaners going to get angry again" dan says looking out at the balcony, they've got plants surrounding the entire balcony now and you can barely see the city anymore.
"oh well this is our little space now. look! I got new chairs for the outdoor bar!" Phil says, walking over to the bar window with dan. dan looks out and sees some yellow metal high chairs.
"I hate to say it but yeah I like them" dan laughs, hugging Phil.
"so about those souvenirs.." Phil brings up and dan groans
"of course of course: he says sarcastically, Phil laughs. they go back up to their room and dan unzips his bags.
"here you pest" dan laughs, handing him a large bag of things. Phil looks inside and starts pulling them all out one by one and getting excited and more excited
"TOTORO!" phil exclaims, pulling out a toter plushie and holding it to his chest
"I knew you'd like him. and theres one last thing.." dan says, reaching into his carry on bag and pulling out a box, and handing It to Phil. Phil opens it up and it greeted with a Swarovski diamond watch with the hands as Turnip head from howls moving castle. and it even has P.L engraved in it
"oh my god Dan it's beautiful" Phil says in awe looking at the watch
"mhmm I had it ordered before I went so I picked it up when I was there"
"I love it so much thank you baby" Phil kisses dans cheek and smiles.
