around 11pm their apartment doorbell goes off, dan looks at the monitor and see the familiar face. he buzzes him in and watches him close the door behind him carefully.
"he's here phil" dan says aloud.
"alright" phil replies, wrapping his arms around dans body from behind him and holding him close and tight. once there is a knock at the door, they seperate and dan opens the door.
"Hey guys.." pj says, he's wearing a white button up shirt and some black work pants, he's carrying a briefcase.
"come on in" phil says, pj walks in and the all head into the lounge and sit at the dining table. he opens up his briefcase
"thank you for coming on such a short notice" dan says.
"it's no problem, I owed you my help so I'm going to help you put her back in jail" pj says, pulling out some documents and sliding them over to them on the glass dining table
"These are her files. she's done multiple things in the past and gotten off on warnings, stalking and harassment is her most common. we can take her down with this. you said you have evidence right?" pj asks, they both nod, phil pulls open is phone and shows him the video from their balcony. pj watches it closely, surprisingly being able to hear the conversation.
"yeah we can definitely use this. you got a restraining order against her too right?"
"yeah.. I kinda forgot because its been so long.." dan explains.
"alright. and then heres James. surprisingly, he has a clean record. " pj says, showing them, his record has nothing on it
"we have this video" dan shows pj, its the one Winona took.
"thats straight up assault. okay. and phil you said you had one of your mates at work find your phones past location?"
"yeah and we were able to get security footage of James with my phone.." phil shows him
"alright this is more than enough to get them arrested. when did you want to take action?"
"as soon as possible." dan says
"the soonest is tomorrow for an arrest.. but are you sure you don't want to make it the day after? you have your opening show tomorrow.." pj says.
"yeah I know.. I just don't want them to hurt us"
"good point. ill give these tips to the police and they'll be arrested tomorrow. what time does your show start tomorrow?" pj asks,
"at 8:45pm to 10 pm"
"okay, you'll need to stay in your apartment until the police arrive, surely your mum will be waiting for you to come out again, but the latest you'll have to wait till is 6pm. depending on the charges the court case will not be determined yet. and ill do everything I can to keep this disclosed and out of the public eye" pj explains, packing his stuff up.
"thank you pj, we really appreciate it" dan says, they all head to the door
"I'm still so sorry for what I did to you a year ago.. I hope this can somehow redeem myself to you guys." pj sighs
"its okay. thank you pj for helping us again" dan smiles softly. they say goodbye ad pj leaves. they lock the front door and finally head into their bedroom
"I hope he really can redeem himself" dan yawns, pulling his shirt off and throws on a large grey jumper, and takes his jeans off. phil takes off his top and jeans too, staying in his boxers. dan tuns off the lights and gets into bed with phil, cuddling up with him.
"I believe him now" phil whispers quietly
"y-you do?"
"yeah, yeah I trust him. he's trying his hardest, this isn't some shit you can just make up. I regret saying id never trust him again now." phil says
"its okay.. I can understand why you didn't.." dan sighs, curling up in phils arms
"you okay?" phil asks, dan nods
"just worried about tomorrow.."
"what part?"
"all of it.. my mum and James are getting arrested and I have my opening night all in one day. this is a lot to put on someone.." dan mumbles
"everything is going to be fine dan, you'll be safe once this is over, and you'll do so well. I know you, you're ready for this" phil says, kissing dans lips softly. dan hums
"thank you. I love you phil.." he replies quietly
"I love you too bear"
"b-bear? where did bear come from?" dan asks, phil giggles
"I just thought it was a cute name. sorry if you don't like it.."
"no its cute. I like bear."
"okay, bear."
