After another week of touristy things, they finally flew back to England. dan able to enjoy the flight this time, but still sleeping a lot. when they land and head through the familiar safety doors, suddenly a bunch of girls start squealing and rushing over to them.
"oh my god hi! you're Daniel Lester Right?" one of them asks, dan had asked for when the show is released to have his name as Howell-Lester because he is getting married soon.
"yeah! hello!" dan says, trying to smile since he's so tired
"could you please sign this for us?" they ask, holding up one of the Evan Hansen march shirts, also handing him a fabric safe pen.
"of course" dan says, pulling the cap off and signing it with his broadway signature. he hands the pen back afterwards
"Thank you so much! we already got tickets to see you! we have to go but thank you again!" they say and leave quickly
"look at you being famous now" Phil jokes as they walk to the taxi rink with their heavy bags. they get in the back and dan suddenly sees the familiar blue.
'DEAR EVAN HANSEN, Staring Daniel Howell-Lester' Dan looks at it, his name is under the iconic photo.
"Jesus you're everywhere" Phil laughs as they start driving
"I realise that.. oh god I can't back out now can I" dan sighs, Phil giggles. after the long drive they arrive home, paying the driver and heading to the entry way.
"you got the keys?" dan asks, feeling his pockets,
"ermm... oh yeah here" Phil says, unlocking the door and holding it open for him. they head into an elevator and go to their floor, unlocking the door and rolling the bags into their room and laying back on the bed together
"home" dan sighs, snugging up to Phil,
"mhmm, but we have to go out and get food" Phil mumbles,
"oh yeah I'm starving.lets go to tessscccooo" dan sings, Phil laughs as they stand up and head back down to the basement and get in the car.
"oh hey I wondered where this went" dan says finding ' After Laughter' by Paramore under his seat
"this is why you need to put it in the glove compartment" Phil laughs, backing out and heading onto the main road.
"hey whilst we are on the way.. did you want to go past new London theatre? see if its set up yet?" Phil asks
"yeah alright, we go past it already anyway why not" dan smiles.
after a 30 minute drive they arrive out the back of the New London Theatre into a staff car park.
"Dan! what are you doing here today?" A familiar voice asks, dan turns around and sees Lucy from the Addams family
"Lucy! oh my god thank you so much, so so much" dan hugs her tightly.
"ah honey its no problem. I'm so thrilled you got it!" she smiles. Lucy takes them inside to the theatre, its being set up as they walk out. the whole thing looks identical to the one in America.
"what do you think?" she asks
"its spot on" dan smiles.
"Oh! annndddd follow me I got to show you the best part" she says. Lucy leads them to the dressing rooms, at the start of the hall, the very first door to the left she opens it. its a large room with a large mirror and couch.
"this is your room!"
"mine? I'm not sharing?"
"pfft, not as Evan Hansen you're not. but your neighbours will have their own too" she smiles. after a little more wondering around, dan and Phil say goodbye and leave to Tesco.
