Once dan had finished the last show for the week, he quickly changed into some casual clothes and rushes outside, signing peoples playbills and talking quickly before looking around for a familiar face, and being shocked with 4.
"OH MY GOD DAN!" Dodie, Zoe and Louise run up to him and tom following behind, they all hug him tightly, security starts running Over to him
"o-oh no they're with me! don't worry Drake" dan laughs awkwardly, Drake laughs and lets them be.
"YOU WERE AMAZING!" Dodie says excitedly
"t-thanks guys! so you all came together?" dan asks
"yeah! we know tom from work! and when he said he knew you we became friends and came to watch you!" Louise smiles
"how cool! uh- guys.. did you wanna come back to my house for a little? maybe some coffee or?.."
"that'd be great! only if you have the ti-"
"of course I have time! come on, we'll get dropped off. what way do you guys live?"
"near paddington station" tom says,
"oh cool we live close?! alright Come on lets go!" dan smiles, leading them to a travel car and hopping in quickly.
"Home Mr. Lester?" the driver asks
"yes thank you" dan smiles politely. all 4 of them turn to look at dan with wide eyes.
"Say what now?" Zoe asks, dan laughs
"all in good time" dan says. once they arrive at the apartment, dan thanks the driver and they head up to the apartment.
"so what was that about?" dodie asks, dan knocks on the front door.
"Hey! Oh my god wow hello!" Phil smiles, opening the door
"w-wait guys whats happening?! what?!" Louise asks, they all head inside the apartment, walking into the lounge. dan and phil follow behind,
"they don't know?" Phil whispers, dan nods, they smile at each other,
"Oi, hello? Guys? whats going on?! we need to have a re cap on our lives because its literally been a year since we last saw you!" Zoe says, they all sit down on the couch, dan and phil sitting across form them.
"You guys should probably go first" phil says,
"Okay, well I'm currently a uni studding game development and film production, and me and my girlfriend recently adopted a small pug!" tom smiles, they all aww
"I've been working with a music label and am hoping to get my music live" dodie smiles
"I got a book deal with penguin books and am currently finishing the final copy"
"and I'm at beauty school! but tell us about you! what happened?! Give us full detail" Zoe asks, dan laughs
"well.. when we all graduated, me and phil moved here- I met with a well known actor, Carrie Hope Fletcher, and ended up getting a minor role in the Addams family musical with her."
"and I got a job at Youtube, working as a webspace designer" phil smiles, thy hold each others hand subtly
"then after the musical ended, and as soon as I got back from Singapore, I got an email from the west end company letting me know I had been selected out of 3 to play Dear Evan Hansen!"
"we both flew out to New York and on dans birthday we saw the show live, then the next day dan met all the original cast and crew!"
"and I won the part and now I play Evan Hansen!"
"Ahh! i'm so proud of you guys! Jesus when was your wedding because you guys are clearly married now" Louise jokes,
"well actually.. its October 19th and you're all invited" dan finally breaks the news, the room goes dead silent,
"wait.." dodie says, dan holds up his hand with the ring, the eruption of screaming and excitement is hit with them. they're bombarded with hugs and congratulations, making them laugh
"Oh my god!! this is amazing!"
"I can wear my overly expensive suit now and not let it collect dust!" tom jokes
"Same I have way to many dresses but OH MY GOD YOU GUYS!"
