Link's POV
Damn, what happened? My head hurts so bad...

Suddenly, it all came flooding back. His laugh. Being pushed. Darkness.

I'm in his realm, and I can't get back out without his help. And he'd never help me escape from him. Ha. That's a good one, my captor helping me escape!

I tried to sit up, but found myself met by resistance. He tied me up? And where's my shirt? What the heck?!

"Ah, you're finally awake. Took you long enough, I thought I'd accidentally killed you. Oopsies, my bad" Ghirahim chuckled. He caressed my cheek with a gloved hand, and I instinctively flinched away.

"Ah, you wound me so, my Skychild! It's as if you don't like my touch. Come now, there's no need to lie to me!"

I shook my head and whimpered as his hand slid lower, setting on my bare chest. My breathing quickened, and I squeezed my eyes shut. The sword spirit chuckled again, before pulling his hand away.

"I get ahead of myself, but I can resist! I've waited for this day so long, and now I finally have you... it's simply delightful! But there's plenty of time for fun later on. For now, I need to begin your training"

He snapped his fingers, and the chains binding me disappeared within a flurry of diamonds.

"Now move! Kneel before me!" He demanded, his tone suddenly cold. I manoeuvred myself into a sitting position, but made no move to kneel before him. If the bastard thinks I'm going to submit to him, he has another thing coming!

"Don't make me repeat myself, boy. Don't try my patience, it won't be pretty" he strode towards me when I made no move to get up. I crossed my arms and turned my face away, being as uncooperative as possible. Have fun training me. And good luck.

He grabbed my face harshly, and forced me to look at him. And I did the first thing that came to mind.

I spat at him, the ball of my saliva landing on his right cheek. Serves him right.

He wiped it off with a grimace, then slapped me. Really hard, and it friggin' hurt!

I let out a whimper, and he dragged me roughly off the bed. My head hit the floor with a dull thud, and pain shot up my back from the impact.

"If you'd just been a good boy, I wouldn't have had to hurt you my darling Skychild. I wasn't asking for anything difficult now, was I? Right then, last chance. Kneel."

Part of me was tempted to do as he asked, but a larger part of me knew if I did, that would be giving in. The second I willingly give in to one of his demands, the orders will get increasingly worse, and I'll begin to obey. As long as the process is gradual, he thinks I won't notice. But I know how his kind work.

He won't trick me that easily.

Ghirahim's POV
"Don't make me hurt you, little ex-hero. I'm not asking a lot, and the sooner you give in, the better. Good pets get rewarded"

He growled, and I sighed.

He wants to play the tough guy? Then I'll just have to break him. He'll be a good boy for me eventually, mark my words. Once his spirit is broken, his resolve will crumble.

"Still going to be difficult. You'll wish you gave in sooner, when I'm through with you!"

He looked around, then looked at me and made a motion with his hands. Writing? Ah, notebook.

I don't know why he won't speak, but that's something I'll work on eventually. Maybe he's mute? I've never heard him speak at all, in fact. Ah well. For now, tiresome as it is, I'll let him use his silly little notebook. There are far more important things to work on than his speech.

I grabbed the worn leather notebook and pen from the bedside table and handed it to him. He took it, careful not to make contact with my hands. How adorable.

He quickly wrote something, then ripped out the paper and handed it to me. It's a miracle he even has any paper left, with all the aggressive notes he writes to me!

I'll never be yours! Never!

I laughed loudly. That's what he believes, and it amuses me greatly. He thinks he can read me, but he doesn't notice the changes in his behaviour happening already.

He doesn't realise that he's already begun to fall.
