Link's POV
After he left, I began to pace the small room. How can I get out of this realm? Urgh, it's impossible!

I began to examine the room. Almost everything was decorated with a diamond pattern, even the window and the mirror were diamond shaped. There was also a painting of his sword form hung above the bed.

Was this his room, or is he really such a narcissist that he'd doctorate every bedroom this way?

Soon I began to grow bored of looking around the room, so I tried the door. And unexpectedly, it swung open. Not locked in? Is he really such an idiot as to let me free? Well, I suppose I have nowhere to go. Beats being cooped up though.

I strolled down the corridor, until I arrived at two doors at the very end they were larger than all the others. They had a large diamond on each, and towered over me. If I'm honest, I felt a little intimated. But I pushed the feeling aside.

I pushed the heavy door open, and found myself in a large room. A throne room.

And of course, it's just my luck. Ghirahim sat on a throne at the end of the large red runner, grinning at me. His posture was relaxed, confident.

It made me want to punch him.

"Why hello, Skychild! It's barely been 20 minutes, did you miss me that much? Aww, what a cute little pet, pining for his Master! Come then, sit on my lap there's a good boy!"

My face paled, and I turned on my heel to leave. But somehow, he was there first, materialising out of diamonds.

"I've let you get away with so much, but that stops now. Don't want you turning into a spoilt brat now, do we?"

He walked me over to the throne, and dragged me up onto his lap. My thoughts shot to the dagger concealed in my pouch, but I need to save that for a more dire situation. Which I hope never happens, but I'd be foolish to believe that.

The demon lord pulled my body closer, and I froze. I was completely pressed against him, curled up on his lap. Once again, I felt extremely vulnerable.

"Relax, little one. Just relax"

Almost as if he'd cast a spell, I felt my body follow his command. My neck stopped straining and relaxed, falling into his chest, and my limbs went limp. A whimper escaped my throat.

I'm the goddesses' chosen hero, and my sworn enemy has me cradled on his lap. What would Zelda think if she saw me now...

Ghirahim's POV
Ahh... this is great.

He's so docile right now, curled up on my lap.

I began to stroke his hair, and he curled up into in even tighter ball to try and escape me. His small frame began to tremble, and I smirked.

So he's still scared of me, that's good. I can use this to my advantage, it'll make it easier to make him internalise the pet mentality I want him to have. Eventually, he'll be obedient to my every command. He'll want to please me. He'll forget about the goddesses' reincarnation, Zelda.

And I cannot wait, but I must have patience.

"So, little one. Whilst your here, care to explain to me why you never speak?"

His small form began to shake even more, and I sighed. I guess I'm not getting a verbal answer. But he better not ignore me.

However, without needing to be given a warning, my Skychild reached into his pouch. I let him keep them on, deciding to only remove his shirt, for now. Because I'm just that kind. However, I did search though his things, and was displeased to find he was carrying a dagger. I removed the offensive item, not that he's realised yet though.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Link nudged a piece of paper into my hand, not meeting my eyes. The second I took it, he curled back up again defensively. How adorable.

I cannot speak. I took the Vow of Silence before the goddess, strengthening my spiritual bond with her. So you'll never get to hear my voice, bastard.

Tch. I now make it my personal mission to make him speak, though I'm not sure how to go about that. Torture? No- screaming doesn't count as breaking the vow, only words. I'll have to get creative. Ah well, that's just something else to ponder to keep my boredom at bay.

"You're an idiot, little ex-hero. The goddess used you, and threw you away when she was done with you. You're just a useless pawn to her now, she doesn't care about you and she never will. You were just a means to an end. And you take a sacred vow in her honour? It's pitiful, really. But don't worry- I'll help you break that bond"

My little Skychild uncurled and looked up at me with wide blue eyes, before scrawling another note.

No. She wouldn't do that to me, I'm the one she chose to defend the world from the likes of you. She'll help me get out of here, just you watch! And when I take your life, you'll be sorry!

I growled, crumping up the note and throwing the balled up paper away.

"Yeah, good luck with that. She's not coming to save you, and there's no way you'll ever be strong enough to defeat me. When I was under Demise's control, my power was weakened as he drained some it for himself. And you could only just beat me back then! But now, at full power, you don't stand a chance. You're at my mercy right now, I could kill you if I so desired. But I wouldn't do that to such a gorgeous boy, it'd be such a waste! Not when I can have you all for myself instead!"

He huffed and turned away from me, not moving to write anything else. I grinned. Giving up for now?

Too bad, I had so much more I wanted to say about your goddess!

But it doesn't matter. The longer you remain on my lap, the more used to my demonic power you get. The power of a sword spirit.

Because making you my pet isn't the only thing I want. No - I'm going to spite the goddess and laugh in her face.

I'm going to turn her precious hero into a sword spirit.
