Link's POV
I've been walking around for a while now, unsure of where to go.

I crept along the corridor after changing into my borrowed black clothes. I need to find Fi and the Master Sword before I leave. It's the only way I'll be free of Ghirahim for good. Plus, I can't leave it in his clutches. It's a weapon of light, not darkness.

Link...Master Link...

The voice was faint, but it definitely belonged to Fi. Oh, how I've missed Fi! She's been my salvation thorough tough times, my support, my guidance. I may not be the bravest hero there's ever been, but with Fi by my side encouraging me I can see anything through.

She keeps me brave. She keeps me strong.

Follow... my voice... Master... Up...

Up? Upstairs? There's a stairway ahead of me!

I tiptoed towards it, my heart hammering in my chest. I couldn't hear much apart from the blood rushing in my ears, and Fi's occasional mental whispers. I wiped my brow on my sleeve, taking a deep breath in an attempt to calm myself.

It didn't work. I was still as on edge as ever.

I climbed the spiralling staircase cautiously, but Ghirahim and his minions were nowhere to be found. Thank the goddess.

Ah, but I have no right to pray to her anymore, not until I repent for my sins. I'm so dirty at the minute, I couldn't even bear to think of all my sins. I'm the goddess's chosen hero, yet I...

No, I need to focus. Find my sword. Get the hell out of here.

Before Ghirahim catches on.

At the top of the stairs I came face to face with a wooden door, which I pushed open slowly. Hm. This seems almost too easy...

Why do I get the feeling he's playing with me?

I almost cried out in relief when I saw the Master Sword, resting atop a chest of draws. I dashed over to it and grabbed it, just as Fi's warning came a second too late. Not that it would've done me any good anyway.

Once you grab... sword... alerted..!

Oh crap, I don't think I've every run so fast!

In my mind, the room was filled the flashing red lights and warning sirens. I mean, it may as well have been!

I dashed down the stairs and bolted down the hallway, no longer worried about being quiet. Bokoblins ran at me from the left, so I went right. I was barrelling down the corridor when more bokoblins rounded the corner. Not having time to think, I unsheathed my trusty sword and sliced though them.

Ah... flashbacks to my final fight with Ghirahim so many months ago... He used this exact same tactic to slow me down. I refuse to let it work a second time!

I have no idea where I'm going, but these bokoblins must have come from the outside. I don't see Ghirahim letting them wander his castle freely, so I just have to go in the direction they came from!

Hacking through the creatures as quickly as I could, my body seemed to fall into the rhythm of a fight I'd missed so much. Its such a natural feeling, all of my nerves are on fire!

No sign of Ghirahim so far... which is odd, surely he knows all his minions are in his castle, surely he can hear the fighting? Maybe he's asleep or something.

Who am I kidding, of course he knows. He's probably watching with popcorn and a drink as we speak! Bastard.

Sooner than I thought, I arrived at the door. Though suddenly, I felt extremely exhausted. As my adrenaline boost began to fade, I noticed all the slashes and new bruises now littering my body. Damn, I'm not as fit or as quick on my feet as I used to be...

As I took my first step outside, toward freedom, a hand landed on my shoulder.

"As entertaining as this was, I think we should go back inside now, don't you, Skychild?"
