The next morning, I jolted awake and looked around us.

The rain had finally stopped, but it was still freezing.

"Angel", I whispered and nudged him until he woke up.

"Where are we?", he asked as he looked around.

"I dunno", I shook my head."But come on."

I then stood up against the wall then leaned on it gritting my teeth.

I was so fucking beat and sore it hurt to even move.

"You ok?", Angel said as he got up.

"Yeah", I lied."Let's go."

When I walked out of the alley, a few people standing on the street gave us looks.

"Can I fuckin help you?", I growled as we walked away and they kept walking.

The sun was just barely coming up so it must of been 6 or 7.

In about 15 minutes, we made it to the Alaskan Way Viaduct.

But we still had a way to go until we reached the hangout.

I hissed to myself as I walked behind Angel, limping, holding my side-you name it.

Before I knew it, my nose started bleeding so I rolled my eyes.

"Son of a bitch", I growled as I wiped it away and leaned on the rail, sniffing before I spit some blood out on the ground.

Angel stopped and threw his head back before looking over his shoulder at me.

"Are you ok?", he said as he walked back up.

"Peachy, kid", I answered then spit some more blood out.

"I'm not a doctor but that ain't a good sign", he shook his head and I looked up at him.

"No shit", I gritted and looked around.

"I mean you could have internal bleeding", he rolled his eyes."How many times you get your ass kicked."
