"It is a sin for everyone except me to look at you or even breath around you"

His ridiculous words kept haunting me as I read a book in my room, I kept reading the same sentence of the novel I was reading over and over again as I could not concentrate. Who does he think he is? I closed the book annoyed, as I could not absorb any words.

I had no intention of letting him play his little games with me, it was not going to work, it might have been successful with other women, but not with me, I don't have time for his bullshit.

I opened the book again trying to sink into another world, this world I live in is of no good, I wish I could live inside my books.

"Oh goodness Andrea, you're doing it again, you have been reading for three hours now." I heard my Mum's voice, I did not even notice when she ushered herself in my room, "Don't you have any assignment to do?" She asked as I shook my head to say no without lifting my eye from my book for even a second.

"Come down, dinner is ready."

"In a minute." I answered without actually meaning it.

If reading a book was a job, I'd be a multi-billionaire, I thought, there was this time when I read a series, the series consists of 6 books and I was mad for it, I lived inside the book for one week, and I seriously did not remember anything I did those times other than reading, after I was done reading the whole series, and I was back into world I was actually living on, I felt immensely empty.

Why does the real world just seem grey and the world inside the book was so much better?

I closed the book and slowly made my pace downstairs, I can't bear to hear Mum's chiding right now if I skip dinner again.

"How was school today?" My father asked as I sat down with him.

"Do you want any tomatoes?" Mum asked while taking some stuff from the fridge.

"Yes, please." I answered Mum and looked at Dad who was waiting for my response.

And I thought to myself, how was school?

Well, it was one of the most ridiculous and bizarre day I've ever had with one of the most ridiculous boys I've ever known, and I learned how the school works too. In a way, it was good because I was able to help someone out from a bully, but was also very annoying.

I took the strawberries which was on the plate, "Unexpected." Then I ate it.

Mum sat down, "Oh any interesting stuff?"

From other's perspective, it may also be interesting, but for me? Big fat no, it was dull and rather confusing. Luckily before I could give an answer, Dad changed the topic.

"I read from your school's magazine that the biggest shareholder in your school is currently very sick, heard anything about that? It is the only thing the parents on the group chat talked about today."

No, the only thing the people in the school talked about today was Alex.

I shook my head, "Not really. I don't even know who the biggest shareholder is in our school." I laughed.

"Is that something to be proud of?" Mum asked, "You should know, it's your school now too, what if you meet him on the streets and do some crazy stuff to him without knowing who he is?"

"MUM!" I sighed, "What do you take me for?"

Dad laughed and said, "I don't remember his name but I remembered his last name, it's Bilimoria."

"Like in the Bilimoria Company?" Mum asked as he nodded yes.

Bilimoria, that sounds very familiar, I'm sure I've heard of it somewhere. "Bilimoria Company?" I asked.

Mum looked at me desperately, I know, I know, I live inside my books too much and I don't know what was happening in the real world out here, "Really Ann? You don't know the Bilimoria Company?" She asked me.

"What?" I demanded, "It's only been a week since we've moved here, how am I supposed to know all the thing?"

"Do you even know your Principal's name?" She asked as I looked at her madly, "I do." I've seen his face numerous times already but I don't really remember his name though. Briony? Ben? Bronson? I could not be sure but I was sure it starts with a B.

"I believe Mr. Bilimoria's son also studied in the school, right honey?" Mum asked Dad, "Yes, I heard he is your most senior, have you ever met him?" Mum asked as I simply shook my head as I chew my foods.

His son? In our school? Bilimoria, Bilimoria, I was sure I had heard of it somewhere.

Wait, wait. Didn't our English teacher say it today?

Mr. Bilimoria

I remembered, wait what? Was it Alex? I was sure our teacher called him a Bilimoria. Wow, it all make sense now, it all sticks together, how all the students were scared of him and how even the teacher did not complain when he stormed in the class whenever he feels like it, it was all because he was the biggest shareholder's son. The famous business man Mr. Bilimoria's son.

"What happened, Ann? Why are you staring at your food like that?" I was taken back to the real world by my mother's question, "Huh? No, I'm eating."

DING DONG

We heard our doorbell's ring, and I got up immediately, "Do not bother, I'm done eating anyway, I'll get it." I said as I went to the door.

I opened the door, "HI!" Ash squealed and throw her arms at the air and hugged me. And with a louder voice, Toni greeted me and doubled the hug.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked confused, as we part from our hugs.

"Is that really your first question after seeing me? Seriously?" Toni asked, looking mad.

I laughed, "No, I'm always delighted to see you, you muppet." I pinched his arms, "But why are you guys here?"

"Why? Why? To have girl's night and gossip of course." Ashlynn stated.

"And do you plan on letting us stand in this cold for the rest of the night?" Toni asked. Ashlynn and I laughed at his impatient manner as I welcomed them in.

"Who is it, darling?" We heard Mum's voice coming from the kitchen.

"Oh, is that Mother?" Toni smirked as we laughed.

"Come guys, meet my parents."
