Spooky how time flies when one's having fun, weeks had elapsed since our return from the school's trip. Everything happened so fast that I did not even have time to think about it for over hundred times as I always did about everything that had happened in my life so far. In a blink of an eye, I saw sides of Alex that I did not even know was there.

The way he numbed all the pain by keeping it inside for so long that he forgot how to be genuinely happy and as much as it surprised me, I was glad I could be the one to bring him even a little bit of happiness that life had denied him for so long. His sorrow made me minimized my own, not that my sadness, or guilt don't matter but his heartbreak draws me near.

Everyone in the school, including my mates were trying restlessly to confirm if Alex and I were dating, officially. And I could not deny nor confirm, I don't know what was going on inside Alex's mind, we were together for the whole trip, more intimate than I'd planned, after our moments in the broken car that snowy night, it was like Alex treated me as if I was his wife, but never really ask me to be together with him so I myself did not have an answer to everyone's question.

"It's not a date, he just wants to bring me somewhere." I had spent exactly half an hour trying to explain to Toni that I was not going to a date with Alex. "Then what does your dress say?" He folded his arm, his expression hung proud as if he figured out the most complicated puzzle.

"Cold night?" I felt my forehead furrow in confusion, "No, your dress is saying the-most-romantic-dinner-with-a-new-boyfriend!"

"Toni, leave her alone." Ash giggled from my bed, as she watched Toni and I fought for the whole half an hour while I was trying to get dress for my night out with Alex, and as I said, it's not a date. Ash's life too was full of surprises these days, so she was rather occupied and did not have enough time to pressure me into telling her every damn thing, Simon and her did not go any further from what they were at the trip, but he still did not go ignoring her, moreover, they still text each other so Ash's life was still full of hope.

"Really? You're on the side of her full of secret life?" Toni asked, pointing at Ash. "Seriously, Toni, there's no secrets, if anything happens, you're the first person to know." I butted in.

"Anything?" He asked, raising his eyebrows, "Anything like, all the details of how Alex would treat you to the most romantic dinner anyone ever experience and after that he'd let you cool down in a warm pool and then let you enjoy heaven for hours?" His smile was so big that he could not held it in, I sighed, knowing that anything he imagined would happen was not even close to happening.

Alex was everything I did not expected, while everyone's imagination run wild, especially Toni's, Alex never went physical on me yet, I always thought he'd be the type to have many one-night stand, but as I said, this mysterious man never ceases to amaze me every day.

The endless quarrel and Ash's fangirling over Simon's picture halted the moment we heard the sound of a car in front of my house. Without wasting any more seconds with my mates, I raced out from my room and towards the door, I could not let my parents meet Alex, with all the secrets and deals that had been going on, it was best if they did not meet.

"As I said, I will be back before 10 in the night, I'm late, don't bother waving me off!" I said in a haste.

Just as I walked out of the door, I entertained Alex's face just an inch apart from mine, his hand was up in the air, getting ready to ring our doorbell, I quickly close the door before either one of my parents could catch a glimpse of him, "Woah, slow down, my lady, what's the haste?"

I stood there, trying to figure out how to say that we should go to wherever it was that we were going right the hell now without actually saying it. "One needs a moment to function properly when a goddess of beauty stands in front of them." He said in admiration.
