"Someone crawl into it." Levi spoke as we stood near the door, his eyes on his phone.

"Pummelled?" Alex asked, looking like he could really use some sleep.

"Horrendously." Levi replied, putting his phone into his pocket, then Simon whispered something into Alex's ear as Ash and I stood there, confusedly. What was going on? Who crawled where?

"Levi, take the girls." Alex commanded as he and Simon expression changed completely, they looked rather excited. "Be docile, and don't go anywhere." Alex said to me as he turned to walk away with Simon, for the first time I grabbed Alex, making him to turned back at me, "Where are you going? You're...drunk." My tone was close to embarrassed, not wanting to show that I was worried.

Then everything in my head slowed down, I was worried about Alex? Worried?

His expression softened a bit as he muttered, "Don't worry, you can dote on me as soon as I come back." He smirked as he left, and I was completely baffled, not by anyone else or Alex, but by myself, I was bewildered at myself.

Was I actually worried about Alex? No, I had no reason to, the most simple answer I could give myself was that he was kind of drunk, and they looked like they were going to do something which I could tell was not good, and given his condition, I just thought he could use a good sleep instead of going somewhere in the night, without even wearing much warm clothes.

Levi played pool as Ash and I sat in the couch, trying to figure out where they were gone, since we failed to elicit any interesting information from Levi, who clearly knew where they had gone to and why.

"Let's hope they don't come back injured." Ash whispered, her expression of worry was hard not to notice, and for the first time in my life, I was actually more worried about Alex than the person who he was going to deal with.

"Why are you worried?" I gave a small faint laugh, trying to shoo away my own teeny tiny worries, "Aren't they the masters of troubles and fights?"

Ash gave me a pointed look, "I know but they can still get hurt, I don't want that to happen." Her tone was close to a cry, "Simon has been so sweet to me, more than I can ever imagine, I just don't want anything to happen." She cupped her face with her hands, and I could feel her sorrow.

Even if Simon had not been sweet to her, she still would be worried about him, for he had been her lifetime obsession. But Ashlynn was a pretty girl, with a black shiny hair that completely suited her cute face, she had creamy skin that looked as smooth as a cloud, she was indeed, a very beautiful girl of her own, and if Simon had been interested in her, I would believe it. But the thing that added up to my worries was that Simon was a playboy, even if he was really interested in Ash, he would never want to commit to her, he had never committed to any woman. I had heard endless stories of Simon and his collection of women from Ash and Toni, so for that fact, I could be sure of it.

Endless thoughts circled up my mind while my phone buzzed with a text.

Meet me by the sidewalk beside building number 1, now!

My eyes widened as I saw who the message was from, it was from Mr. Phil, what possible reason could he had, to call me out at a night time like this? Ash read the confusion in my face as she snatched my phone from my hand.

"What? What does he want?" She asked, bewildered just as I was, then Levi perked up to us, "What happened?"

"Nothing." I blurted out as I snatched my phone away from Ash and put it inside my pocket as I stood up. "I have to go to my room, I'll be back." I stated as Levi stood still, "Don't take long." He said as I nodded, "What does he want? And are you going alone?" Ashlynn whispered to me, "It could be something important, I'll be back soon." I answered, and she grabbed my hand as soon as I tried to leave, "No, I'm just worried, Alex won't like you to meet him alone, remember how cold he looked when Mr. Phil called out your name in the hall." She tried vainly to remind me how possessive Alex could be, but he was not even here and I could be back before he came back, "I'll be back soon."

"No, Ann, just meet him tomorrow." She urged me not to go, and I hold her arm, "It could be important, don't you remember how good Mr. Phil has been to me? I can't leave him hanging the first time he asks for me."

"I know...but Mr. Phil is not like Professor Mike or Professor Harry who are old and has wives and children, Mr. Phil is young and very much eligible, I'm just worried Alex would react badly to it, you know how possessive he is of you."

That was it, Ashlynn finally succeed in making me irritated, "Why do I have to care for what Alex feels? I'm not his, I can make my own decision to whom I meet!" I kind of shouted in a whisper tone as I walked away from her.

The sound of Ashlynn's voice calling me and Levi reminded me to come back soon were the last thing I heard before I rolled out from the door.

It was almost midnight, the first thing I noticed was the snow, I smiled, it was snowing and the weather was more chilling than before, standing outside made me realized how warm the indoor was, the outside was extremely brass monkey. I put both of my hands in my pocket as I shivered. The street lights were dimly on, and I started to made pace towards building 1, there was no students outside anymore as I walk towards building 1.

If it was some other people asking me to meet them in this hour, I probably would not go, or even if I did go, my pessimist ass would be thinking all the hell out of my mind. But, to my surprise, any ridiculous thoughts didn't occur to me as I walked to meet Mr. Phil.

I reached building 1 and breathed the cold air as I searched around for Mr. Phil, it was dark and it was hard to see everything as building 1 had already put out most of their lights, and there was not much lights in the street which was covered with snow to make the area bright.

I descried some movements, I walked towards it to see if it was Mr. Phil, I really loathe my myopia at the moment as I could not quite figure out who was there, but as I approached nearer and nearer, I could figure out that it was a man, in a long coat, he was back facing me but I could tell from his curly hair that it was, indeed, Mr. Phil.

I approached him nearer as he noticed my movements and turned to face me.

"You're not here to punish me for always daydreaming in your class, are you?" I laughed, asking the first thing that popped to my mind before thinking about it twice.

He joined my laughter but didn't mutter any word to response it instead he let silence fill the cold air between us as he look at me with the most solemn look he ever gave me.

I breathed, "It's brass monkey outside, can we go somewhere inside and talk, Mr. Phil?" I asked, almost could not bear the extreme cold anymore.

"I'm leaving the school!" His sudden words stopped me from turning to walk inside, I looked at him, not even sure of what I was feeling, "What? Why...so suddenly?" I asked, completely mystified by his sudden statement.

"I plan to resign as soon as we go home from this trip."

"Why is that?" I asked, "And why are you telling me this, Mr. Phil?" I added, unable to figure out anything that happened in a minute.

"Because..." He mumbled, and I could read the confusion mixed with something I can't read in his eyes, he hesitated for a moment before he finally spoke, "I'm leaving because...of you."

I was overcoming with bewilderment, "What? What did I do?" I asked as I became more perplexed as seconds passed by, the look on his eyes were different, his tone was different, everything about him felt different tonight, and he said he was resigning because of me?

I could not picture anything together as I stood there, helplessly confused by what he said, "Relax, Andrea." His soothing voice could not calm me down, "It's not because of what you did, it's because of what I did."

"I don't understand."

He closed his eyes firmly before he spoke any other word, "I felt something I should not." His eyes slowly went up to meet my eyes, "I know I should not, but I could not help myself."

I tried to speak but whatever I was trying to say got lost in their way as they went up to my throat, I just inhaled deeply.

"This maybe the most absurd thing you've ever heard," He started to speak again as our eyes were still locked with each other, "But I could not leave without telling you," He hesitated yet another moment, "I'm in love with you!"

I felt my mouth slightly hung open as I heard the most preposterous thing, "If what I feel for you is not love, I don't know what it is." He added.
