I yawned as I settled into the comfort of Edward's car. After school. We spend most of the time in the meadow, before I went back to his and listened to him play. I was quite tired now.
"Jackie." I groaned "Jack." i shook my head. I heard him sigh then he pulled me out and lifted me into his arms as if he was carrying a child. I was semi conscious when I heard him talking to Jasper, something about waiting for Bella to come home. There was talking and then not talking.
"Jackie, wake up now." The seriousness in his voice jolted me awake.
"What is it?" He put me down and ran off.
"Bells?"
"Come on." We went upstairs.
"Edward? Edward what's going on?" I asked
"Someone's been here." He came out
"Here too." I heard Jasper.
"Someone's been in our rooms? Another vampire?" I wonder.
"We need to tell the others." I was taken back out before I could even say Hi to dad. At the Cullen house Edward was telling the others
"Did you recognise the scent?" Carlisle asked
"Stranger. Didn't recognise his scent." I sat holding my sisters hands
"Nomad, passing through?" Esme wondered
"A passerby wouldn't have left their father alive."
"The scent disappeared about five miles south of the house." Jasper and Emmett came back after they tracked the scent.
"Someone has to be orchestrating this."
"Victoria?" I wonder.
"No, I would have seen her decide." Alice denies
"The Volturi then." Edward stated
"I don't think it's the Volturi's either. I've been watching Aro's decisions too."
"So we keep looking." Emmett confirmed.
"We'll also take shifts a guarding the girls house." Carlisle added
