Colour
That was the first thing I remember as a vampire. My eyes were wide open as I took everything in. I could see, see things and objects I hadn't see since I was little, but now it was better. I could see the dust molecules in the air words of books on shelves. I looked around and a blurry figure became clear.

It was if a fog had been lifted from my eyes. he was more handsome than I pictured him. I was seeing and learning everything again from what I once knew. I sat up and turned my new and improved eyes on my husband. He held out his hand and I slipped of the bed and made my way towards him. Sliding my hand up his arm I took every new detail.
"So beautiful." he whispered I looked up into his eyes, they were golden with flicks of black specks.
"So handsome." I slid my other hand to his cheek. He took it and led me over to the mirror. I was different than I remember, but it had been 13 years since I actually looked in a mirror. I stood taller with long brown curls and flawless skin.

I looked flawless with blood red eyes. I turned round to my husband and brought him into my arms he grunted.
