Though my hybrid vampire nature was a remaining puzzle my human life was over. Everything seemed to be falling into place. Even the Volturi had accepted our new status, though they would want proof eventually. Sam and Jacob came to a truce while my sister and I flourished as vampires. Hayley left to return home but Rebekah had bought a small house close by, she and Seth were really good friends. The only thing against us was time.
The children were growing too fast. We were all worried how long we would have left with them, it made every second more precious.
Today Bella and I took the children to the meadow to play. The kids were chasing each other using their vampire powers.
"Edward thinks we'll find answers in Brazil." I told Jacob, Seth and Bella. "There are tribes there that might know something." The kids jumped in the air, Mason tigged Ness. and looked away. When they came down the kids ran over.
"What wrong?" I asked they pointed over to the cliffs.
"Who's that?" Nessie asked
"I think that's our cousin for Denali." Bella answered "Irina!" I gave Mason and Lilibet to Seth. Irina ran and the two of us went after her. We reached the top but she wasn't there. But the sounds of a splash were. We looked over the edge but she was gone.
"We should leave and see what's going on." Bella said
"Yeah." We all arrived back and we told Carlisle what happened, He talked to Tanya.
"Tanya convinced her to come reconcile with us"
"Seems like she changed her mind." Edward replied
"Seeing Jacob and Seth must have been too much for her."
"I wish we could have just spoke to her." sighed
"She'll come around, when she's ready." Carlisle leaned back and put his arm around Esme. Lilibet sat with her Dad at the piano. Edward started to play and the she helped. I rested on the piano watching them play. Soon Lilibet was playing by herself as everyone listened. Just as they were in the middle Alice dropped a vase of flowers, but Mason flicked his hands out and the froze mid drop. She was scared
"Alice, what did you see?" Jasper asked
"The Volturi, they're coming for us. Aro, Caius, Marcus. The guard."
