Alexa's POV

I WAKE UP NEXT TO ALEX, sleeping on the familiar couch in their apartment. At first I was startled, but then I realized where I was. There was no easy way out of this position, since Alex was holding me in the corner of the couch. Instead of getting up, I watch him sleep; not in a creepy way of course. I feel him stir and I pretend to be asleep again, while he gently pulls his arm out from under me and gets up, probably going to his room.

I lay there for a bit longer before I hear arguing, which makes me become curious. Without making a sound, I got up and tip-toed over to where the yelling was coming from. At first I only recognize Alex's voice, but then I quickly notice the other.... David. "Can't you be happy for me? For once in your life can you not be selfish. You have Liza David!" I hear Alex yell, with his back facing the door.

"It's really hard to do that Alex, you don't deserve her" David says, lacing venom in his tone.

Alex deserves me, I'm not a little toy.

Then I hear it, "David I love her." There was an instant silence in the room, making my mind fly with various thoughts. Did I love Alex? We're too young, I've barely have known him long enough to be in love with him. Maybe one day, but that day is yet to come.

I hear movement in the room and quickly make my escape, jumping back onto the couch in the same position. David grabs his camera from the counter and leaves the apartment, slamming the door. Right after him Alex comes out of the room, making sure I was still sleeping. He walks over to the kitchen and I finally ask him, "Is it true?"

"What?"

"That you love me."

He doesn't respond quickly but instead walks over to me, making eye contact from the other side of the couch. I have my chin resting on it and he looks at me, making sure our eyes are level. "Of course it's true," he pauses making my breath hitch, "but it's okay if you're not ready to say it back... I'll always be here." With that he kisses my forehead, saying nothing more.

Did I love him?

ONE MONTH LATER

THIRD PERSON POV

Alex and Alexa's relationship has been going as strong as ever, even if the young girl hasn't returned the 'I love you' back. That doesn't stop Alex though, making it as clear as he can. David on the other hand has been forcing his relationship with Liza, which some fans have caught on to. Saying things such as, "David looks so unhappy with Liza" or "Why does David look so sad? He was never like that around Alexa." Most of the comments were true, since the only real person who brought him joy was someone else...not Liza. Over the time he began to deal with it, trying not to pay attention.

All of his fans miss seeing Alex and Alexa in the vlogs, and most people think they left the group. Others have already figured it out, saying that the two are together; which is true. In reality they still hung out with everyone, except David didn't film it. David was reluctant to film Alexa on camera nowadays, since people always pointed out the mood change. Same thing went for Alex.

Everyone was currently going over to the 'Vlog House' to film something but Alex had something different in mind. He's been waiting forever to ask Alexa on another date, after their first one was disastrous. But dispite everything that went wrong, Alex finally asked Alexa to be his girlfriend... which she accepted with much joy. After that the night was filled with laughter and dumb romantic movies they found on Netflix. It was great, but Alex knew he could top it.

Alexa's POV

While I was applying my mascara, my phone started to go off signally someone had texted me. Surprisingly, it was Alex.

Alex: Hey instead of going to the house do you wanna maybeeee go on a date?

me: as long as you promise it doesn't go like the first one

The first date we had wasn't bad, since it was when Alex asked me to be his girlfriend.

Alex: promise. see u in like 20 mins.

I smile at the text message and continue to finish my top left lashes, almost poking myself in the eye while doing it. After I ran over to my closet trying to figure out what to wear, since he never told me what we were going. I figured that leggings always work, so I threw them onto my bed going to look for a top. I settle on a white crop top, grabbing a jean jacket to go over it.

Once I'm dressed I check the time, seeing that Alex will probably be here momentarily. I run over to our shoe rack, 'borrowing' Leah's checkered vans. Just then someone knocks at the door, making me jump. Swiftly I grab my phone and money, stuffing it into my pocket. There really was no point of bringing money, since Alex pays whenever we go out. I obviously reject to it, trying to pay half but he always beats me to it.

I open the door and he's standing there wearing khakis and a white shirt, with matching Vans. "I like your shoes," I smirk and he looks at mine, smiling. He grabs my hand and pulls me out of the apartment, while I quickly shut the door. "May I ask where we're going?"

"It's a surprise," he says looking back at me.

"You know I hate surprises," I reply playfully scowling at him.

"Yeah, but I promise this one is going to be good."
