Chapter 9

After the phone call with your mom, you made your way back to the livingroom, finding Kookie fiddling with his fingers, head low.

None of his bodygaurds were on sight.

You took the seat beside Kookie, and once he noticed your presence a wide smile plastered his lips.
Almost instantly, he wrapped his small arms around you.

"K-Kookie miss N-Noona." His voice was hoarse, probably from all the crying a while ago.

You returned him a quick hug before questioning. "Is that why you came to see Noona?" He nodded as a reply. "Also. Kookie bored." He let's go and crosses his arms pretending to be mad.

You couldn't help but let out a chuckle, before tapping the tip of his nose.

It was still around 11 and you wondered if he's eaten already.

"Kookie-ah are you hungry?" You questioned the kid. He nodded his head but then shook it. "What?"

"Kookie is h-hungry for N-Noona's Love."

You couldn't help but giggled at his comment. He looked so cute.

"Let's go." You brought him up to your arms, instinctly he wrapped his arms around your neck. "Noona?" You hummed as the two of you now entered the kitchen. "N-Noona love k-Kookie too?" He was fiddling with your collar as he asked the question.

"Of course." You replied. "Noona loves Kookie too." You turned and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.

You placed him on a chair before heading towards the fridge, taking out some food your mom had cooked this morning. While waiting for them to heat up, you went back to where Kookie was, only to find him staring at you with his cute big owl eyes. His face was red all of a sudden, making worry rush through your veins.

You pressed your hand on his forehead for any sign of heat. His temperature was normal tho. "Kookie-ah, are you okey? Your face's red."

As if reality hit him, he blinked his eyes two times, before widening his arms in a giant circular motion, a smile plastering his face. "Kookie loves Noona this much!" He exclaimed.
