You sneaked down the dimly lit hallway. You moved as quickly and quietly as you could. You could not be caught, you were good as dead if you were caught. You could hear someone coming down the hallway. You turned, hid behind the corner and took a deep breath. Watching how loudly you were breathing so you wouldn't be heard.
You heard the person coming closer. Looking at your surroundings you found a closet and crept into it. As you heard the person stop in front of the door your breath hitched. You could not be caught. Not again, not after what happened last time.
The handle to the closet jiggled. This is it, you thought, this is how I die. The door opened slowly, you then saw two wide eyes peaking into the closet. They then landed on you.
"Ahaha! I found you!" Bruce yelled in triumph.
"Dammit!"
"Don't worry, you didn't lose, Bucky and Sam were found first."
"Oh thank god. I am not cleaning the bathroom after what happened last time."
"Yeah...never use the bathroom, after Thor. You never know what awful thing you'll find."
You see every month everyone that lives or is visiting the Avengers compound has to participate in a huge game of hide and seek. The first person or people that are found have to deep clean every bathroom in the compound.
"So how did you find Sam and Buck?"
"Well they were hiding in the same spot and were arguing on who had to leave to find a new spot. The arguing became very loud and it was very easy to find them."
You let out a chuckle, "Of course. Whose all been found?"
"I have found Sam, Bucky, Tony, Rhodes, Vision, Thor and you."
"So that leaves, Peter, Shuri, T'challa, Loki, Clint, Wanda, Natasha and Steve."
Bruce nodded, "This is going to take forever."
"I'll go up this way you keep going down here and I will text you if I find anyone."
He nodded in agreement then the two of you left on your own. While walking you checked every closet, bedroom, or other random rooms you would run into along the way. As you entered the kitchen you could hear a faint crunching noise. You went to the pantry and slowly opened the door. Inside you found Shuri eating a bag of doritios.
"Oh...what's up y/n?" she asked casually.
"Nothing really, just playing hide and seek."
She nodded then put another chip in her mouth, "Cool, cool. Please tell me I don't have to clean the bathroom."
"Nah, you're safe. Do you by chance know where your brother is?"
"I actually think I do...I saw him get into a big box in Tony's office. Maybe he's still there."
The two of you ran to the office and sure enough right in the center of the room was a huge box. You took off the lid and inside was King T'challa curled in a ball. Shuri began snickering and taking pictures.
T'challa jumped out of the box and tried to grab her phone, "Delete that photograph right now!"
"Never! I'm going to post it on my meme page with the caption, 'If I fits I sits'"
"Why do you do this to me?"
You snorted as you listened to their bickering. Your phone then dinged, you had gotten a text form Bruce saying he had found Steve, Loki and Wanda. You replied by telling him you have found Shuri and T'challa.
