Sorry this is coming out late. Ya girl was busy and had a few mental breakdowns this week aha
Valentines Day. A day full of hearts, romance and chocolate. For you so far it had been a normal school day. People were annoying, especially couples, the day just dragged on and within the first few minutes you wanted to kill someone.
The day was finally coming to an end. You were at your locker putting some things away while you friend, MJ talked to you.
"Ugh, I don't get it, why do couples seem to get worse when it's Valentines Day? Yeah, I'm talking about you," she said point at a particularly annoying couple, "Stop having eye sex in the hallways, some people are trying to sulk and want to do it in peace!"
The couple glared at her as they walked away. You simply shook your head and hid your laughter.
There was then a sound of squeaking shoes, you looked up to see Peter Parker running past the hallway you were in. Peter Parker, the boy who had been flirting with you for months. And yes you would flirt back. You both had major crushes on one another, but neither of you would do anything about it.
"Peter?" you questioned as he ran by.
"Why do I feel like he's looking for you?" MJ asked.
You shrugged. You walked to the end of the hallway to see him still running. "Peter!" you yelled.
The second the boy heard your voice he came skidding to a halt. He turned, looking for you, the second he spotted your face he grinned. He jogged over to you.
"Hey, I was looking for you!"
"Well, here I am," you said with an awkward laugh.
He then crossed his arms over his chest and rested against the wall by him. He loudly cleared his throat, "So, you doing anything tonight?"
You raised your eyebrows and fought back a giant smile, "Why do you wanna know?"
"Well, I mean I was just wondering mostly...and I sorta had this plan, and it's Valentines Day, and I-"
"Peter, if you wanna ask me out just do it."
"-I...oh. Well uh...ha." His face had become bright pink.
Now you couldn't help it, you had to smile, "You are ridiculous."
"Hey! Leave me alone, you know how nervous I was to ask you? Well am, I haven't technically asked you yet..."
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean it like that, you're being ridiculously cute."
Peter covered his now red face, "You made it worse."
You laughed.
He uncovered his face, "Y/n, would you like to go on a date with me tonight?"
"I would love to."
"Alright, cool, cool. Um I'll pick you up at five, see you then!" He gave you a small peck on the cheek then began to run out the door, "Gotta go!"
You shook your head then turned around. You were met with MJ.
"What the hell just happened?"
