Hey guys!

It's officially the 5 year anniversary of S/T, they grow up so fast. For the official anniversary I wanted to do something you'll probably consider boring, I wanna talk about how this album changed my life and how much I love it.

To break it down, because I remember the dates of everything, I wanna kinda tell this story as a timeline. Starting out that after Josh and Zac left I did stop keeping up with Paramore for a while, which is why S/T caught me so off guard.

June 2013

I get out of middle school and my parents move our family to a new town, and I lose all my middle school friends. As I'm putting up posters in my new room I turn over one of my old posters because I don't really listen to that person anymore, and on the other side is a Paramore poster from 2010 that I forgot about. I wonder what's been up with them and that's how I find The Singles Club, and I fall in love all over again.

July 2013

I'm listening to the radio and the freshest, catchiest song, with amazing vocals comes on, but the  DJ doesn't say the name of the song. This happens a few more times until he finally announces it as Still Into You by Paramore, and I was floored. I never heard Paramore sound like this, so I thought it was a mistake. I looked it up on YouTube, and I didn't recognize Hayley at first, so I thought they replaced her. I got my hands on the rest of the Self-Titled, listening to it from beginning to end uninterrupted. The album blew me away and I connected with it in a way I had never conntected with anything before.

September 2013

I start as a freshman at a new high school where I have no friends. I also discover Paramore fanfiction, and I stay up all night reading every story on Buzznet I can get my hands on.

February 2014

I begin writing incredibly terrible Paramore fanfiction lmao.

April 2014

I discover Wattpad and the world of Tayley 😶

July 8th 2014

I get to see Paramore live on Monumentour! I got the tickets for my 15th birthday (March 4th 2014) and I literally go into shock and start sobbing. I make a special countdown on the calendar in the kitchen where I cross off the days leading up to the concert with the bars symbol (seriously, I would show you but it got thrown out). When the day finally comes my dad and I drive up to Clarkston where the show is, my dad is wearing a Brand New Eyes shirt because he's cool like that. We get there 2 hours early and we're at the front of the gate with like 8 other people, mostly teen girls like me. My dad starts playing Paramore songs from his phone and the other people and us have a small dance party. No one is showing up really, but we do see the tour bus and it's totally blocked off and guarded. We go to the little area they have where you can get the colored dust put on your clothes to look like Paramore on their album cover, I'm now blue and green from head to toe:
