Dorm-Mates ~ Daniel Seavey

#12 - Nature Park

The rest of the night we just talked and watched movies. I must have fallen asleep at Corbyn's because I woke up on his couch. I looked around and nobody else was there. I grabbed my phone and saw that it was 11:30 and I didn't even have any texts from them. I got up and headed back to my dorm to see that they weren't there either. I decided to text them to see where they went. I texted Daniel, Corbyn, then Jack and nobody responded. I decided to go take a shower then watch Friends. While I was watching Friends I heard my phone buzz.

Text messages:

12:06pm

Dani <3

Hey, get dressed in something casual and comfy to walk around in. Be down by 12:30, see you later ;)

Me

Okay?

What is he planning? Well I guess I only have like 20 minutes so I should get ready. I went to get dressed then brushed my teeth. When I was done I checked the time and saw that it was time to go. I put on my shoes and headed down. When I walked out the door I saw Daniel standing next to a car smiling at me. 

"Y/n, Would you please go on a date with me?"

"Of course" I responded smiling at him. He opened the passenger door for me and I got in. He ran around the car and jumped the drivers door and took off down the street.

"Dani, did you rent a car for this?"

"I bought a car" he said smiling over at me. "I needed one and I'm pretty sure you do too so I thought we could share one".

"Aw, you're literally the sweetest". We eventually pulled up at a nature park and Daniel ran around and opened the door for me. I climbed out and looked around, this place was beautiful. 

"Want to go on a hike with me?"

"I would love to!" I said back smiling. Daniel grabbed my hand and locked our fingers. We started the hike and it was amazing. It was probably an hour hike and once we were at the end of it there was a beautiful view. There was a picnic set up with little candles around it. We sat down and Daniel opened the basket. He lit the candles and pulled out some food. We ate lunch/dinner because it was about 3:00pm. We hung out up there for a while and eventually decided to walk back down. We got down at around 4:00pm and kept exploring the park. We found a bench next to a little pond and sat there. 

We were sitting there for a while talking and I decided to push Daniel in the pond because I had the perfect opportunity and It was my turn in the prank war. Once I pushed him in I couldn't stop laughing. Daniel came to the surface and gave me a death stare which made me laugh even harder.

"Okay, ha ha.. Help me out now" 

"Fine". I reached my hand down to help pull him out but next thing I knew I was in the water with him. "DANIEL!!!!!" He couldn't stop laughing at me so I splashed him which turned into a splash war. 

We were playing in the water for a while and I was swimming away from him when he eventually grabbed my waist. I turned around so I was facing him. Our faces were only inches away from each others and I could feel his breath hitting my lips. We were starting into each other's eyes until I saw Daniel glance down at my lips. I nodded, closed my eyes, and slowly leaned in. Daniel leaned in too and I felt his lips gently touch mine. Our lips moved in sync for a few seconds before he pulled away. We started staring into each others eyes again.

"Y/n, will y-you be my g-girlfriend?" he asked obviously very nervous.

"Of course" I said smiling up at him. He smiled back at me and pulled me in for another kiss but this time more passionate. I started smiling into the kiss and I could feel Daniel also start to smile. We eventually pulled apart and smiled at each other. Daniel pulled me in for a hug and I obviously hugged back. We climbed out of the pond and headed back to the car. 

We finally got back to the dorm and I changed out of my wet clothes. I climbed into bed right away. My legs were really tired from all the walking today. Daniel came back from changing and jumped into my bed next to me. I then cuddled into his side. I smiled up to him and he smiled back and grabbed the remote to search for a movie.
