Martinus POV ///

Dave : 5 minutes till showtime!!!!

We did our little traditional huddle with the team and then went to our places ready to go on stage. I could already hear the crowds screaming as the countdown video began to play.

I was so nervous. More than usual as this was the show I was gonna announce about Megan and I. I think she was kinda scared too as she's been sticking by my side the full day.

She was downstairs in the dressing room just now because we planned to do it at the end of the show. She said she would come up when I was about to do it.

I was mostly nervous because I didn't really know what to say. I mean how do you just blurt something like that out in the middle of a concert. Should I just be like "oh, I've got a girlfriend btw, ok bye" or should I be like "so I've got something to tell you.." but that's too serious. Ugh I don't know.

Or should I bring her on stage and introduce her to everyone? Nah she would hate me forever. She's already been on stage and I don't think she enjoyed it very much ahaha

Also no one else knows, not even Marcus. He's gonna be so confused when I start talking but never mind, it'll be funny to surprise him and see his face.

The screams got louder as my hands began to feel clammy against the microphone I was tightly holding. My knees were shaking frantically as I knelt down by the stairs I was so nearly about to run up.

I looked over at Marcus who was mouthing "you ok?" towards me. He obviously noticed that I was slightly more nervous than usual. I just nodded along with a forced smile.

Video : 10...9...8...7....6...5...4...3...2...1...

I stood up.

Megan : MARTINUS!

Megan's POV ///

Amy : don't worry, she'll come round.

Megan : I don't know Amy, she's really been avoiding me. She even shouted at Martinus earlier and what has he done?

Amy : she's probably just missing home or something, I don't really know her so I wouldn't know.

Megan : well I do and she's never done this....ever.

Amy : maybe it's something about Marcus?

Megan : nah I saw them laughing together earlier, it's something else.

Amy : Just talk to her then

Megan : where is she?

Amy : not got a clue.

Megan : I'll text her to meet me after the show.

My mind suddenly moved from Lara to the concert where Martinus was confirming our relationship. My stomach filled with butterfly's as I froze.

Amy : you not gonna text her then?

Megan : oh yeah sorry.

I took out my phone and it opened up to Instagram from when I was scrolling through it earlier. I noticed a post that looked familiar. I clicked on it to see that it was a picture of Martinus hugging Charlene from earlier in the day.

Amy was looking over my shoulder as I looked at the comment. It read "they are so cute together! I ship them! Who else? #Chartinus"

Amy : oh no

I felt my eyes getting blurry and watery as I read there was over 100 comments. I took a deep breath as I prepared myself to read them.

Amy : don't Megan!

Ignoring her, I clicked on the comments and immediately caught sight of one. It read "YESSSS!!! So glad that other cow is out of the picture!" tears fell from my eyes as I continued to read them.

"They should totally go out!" "I SHIP IT!" "That's a better choice Martinus!!" "They're probably already dating tbh, I can sense the chemistry through my phone!" "Yes I luv her!!!!" "I ship it #chartinus"

Amy : Megan stop it!

She grabbed the phone off of me as I wiped the tears that were flooding down my cheeks. I had done so well to ignore it since the whole talk with Amy until now. But I just couldn't do it anymore.

Then I suddenly remembered the concert. Martinus was going to announce our relationship! He can't, not now! I'd just get more of those comments. Now I know they hate me I can't let Martinus go down.

It won't just be me, Martinus will get so much hate and I couldn't deal with that. It would be all because of me and that would kill me. I checked my watch to see there was only three minutes until the concert began.

Suddenly, Harvey walked in.

Harvey : hey!

I jumped up from the couch.

Harvey : you ok?!?!

I pushed passed him slightly more aggressive than I intended.

Amy : MEGAN!!

Harvey : wow where are you going!?!

I ignored them both and ran out the door. I began running. I again had no idea around this place so I just ran in any direction. There were signs that kinda helped as well.

I was never good at P.E in school but I think Mrs Mcnab would be very proud of me right now. My legs were running faster than ever as I speeded down the hallway. My eyes were still blurry from the tears so I accidentally pushed some people over as I ran.

They shouted at me but I again ignored them. I had to make it to Martinus before the concert began. I checked my watch again to see I only had 1 minute left.

Somehow I made it to somewhere I recognised. From here I knew the way to backstage so I kept running, this time even faster.

I finally made it backstage and pushed passed more people. I could hear the 10 second countdown on the video making me frantically run around trying to find Martinus.

I finally caught sight of him sitting by the stairs about to go on. He stood up as the countdown ended. I shouted at the top of my lungs.

Megan: MARTINUS!
