Only just beginning.

Megan's POV ///

The music blasted and the crowds cheered as the show began like normal. The boys jumped and danced like their lives depended on it. I could tell they were happy and I loved that.

I looked over at Charlene at the side of the stage as she was on in a couple of songs time. She was tapping her foot on the ground and taking deep breaths. I was surprised by how nervous she was considering she had done this millions of times before.

I decided to go over to her and try to reassure her that everything was ok.

Megan : you're gonna be great, trust me!

She continued to take deep breaths as she stared at me with nerves in her eyes.

Megan : what you worried about?

Charlene : ....th-this is the first time I've sang in front of Jonah.

Megan : ohhhh

I looked over to where Jonah was seated and realised that he was making his way over.

Megan : I don't think you have to worry about that Char, he's gonna love it and love YOU even more after he's heard it.

Charlene : you really think so?

I nodded as Jonah came and stood next to us both looking at Charlene with concern.

Jonah : you alright?

Charlene : yeah, I'm just excited.

She smiled and so did I.

Jonah : IM excited to hear you sing! You're gonna be amazing, I just know it.

Charlene : thanks J.

I left them to talk and went back to my seat beside Lara who was completely dazed by her boyfriend on stage. I giggled as I sat back down on my seat and awaited the exciting evening ahead that had only just begun.

I waited patiently for the next couple of songs until it was finally time for the new song to be sung and for Charlene to make her way onto stage. We all watched from backstage as Marcus spoke.

Marcus : so we now have a little surprise for all you guys.

The full stadium suddenly went quiet as everyone listened in to what Marcus was about to say

Marcus : This next song is something you've never heard before and was made only a couple of weeks ago with someone you may recognise.

Martinus : so give a huge welcome on stage to Charlene Dudley!

They all clapped and cheered as Charlene took one last deep breath and began to walk on stage. She smiled and waved at the welcoming audience that came before her. She made her way to the very end of the stage to where Marcus and Martinus were stood.

Martinus : so this is called 'love never dies'.

My eyes lit up at the name and suddenly I was brought back to Scotland. On that day when Martinus was leaving for tour. The feelings flooded back as I hated the thought of losing him. I had cried. Martinus was in front of me, staring into my eyes as my eyesight was blurry. I remember being angry that he had no option but to go but also so heartbroken that I was losing him. I thought that that would be the last time. I thought I would never see him again. That he would just move on to somebody else but he said something to me that had changed those thoughts completely.

Martinus : love never dies.

And suddenly my heart was lifted and I had hope. Hope that one day we would be reunited and live happily ever after. I trusted him not to leave me. And he didn't.
